Shift: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday Air Conditioned Warehouse ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned. * Ensure all required tooling, plates, cylinders, materials, dies, and accessories are staged on the set-up cart prior to press make-ready. * Mount printing plates as required per job specifications. * Organize and maintain the kitting area to support efficient set-up preparation. * Perform machine make-ready activities, including loading and removing print cylinders, materials, laminations, dies, scoring equipment, and related components in accordance with standard work procedures. * Assist Press Operators with the set-up and adjustment of auxiliary equipment. * Ensure all tools and equipment are returned to the designated preproduction areas after set-up completion. * Assist in other departments or production areas as needed. * Work collaboratively with Prepress and Production team members to support customer satisfaction, cost control, and on-time performance. The Auxiliary Crew role is essential in supporting the forging operation by executing a range of service tasks crucial to production. This position is responsible for verifying die assembly in presses, assisting press operators in setup and tear down of press dies, ensuring proper lubrication equipment operation, material centering on presses, and other pivotal duties to maintain operational efficiency. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Verify proper dies are assembled in the press by using set up sheet and verify that the serial numbers on the furnace load sheet correspond with the serial numbers on the check off sheet. • Responsible for assisting the press operator on set up tear down of press dies; also checks that the throat opening, and guide tube are aligned. Report any die wear or abnormalities to operator or supervisor. • Checks lube equipment prior to running job and lubes dies according to lube procedure on weight ticket/procedure sheet. • Centers material on press. • Blows scale off the blocking base and pot by using a blow pipe. • Sets the laydown machine in proper position prior to running the first piece. • Contacts heat treat personnel prior to running the first piece. • After extrusion is laid down, reads extrusion length from proper scale on the conveyor and record length on the check off sheet. • Performs stencil of hot material. • Assists with general cleanup of shop area. REQUIRED SKILLS: • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures. • Proficiency in basic mechanical tasks and equipment operation. • Attention to detail in verifying and documenting operational processes. • Strong communication skills to report abnormalities and collaborate effectively. • Capability to perform physical tasks involving standing, reaching, and lifting. • Capacity to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment while maintaining safety standards. • Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team. R. J. Corman Railroad Company is currently seeking Train Crew Members to join our team in Dayton, TX. Accountability: Performs engine operation, on-ground duties, equipment and track maintenance and other assigned duties to assist in an efficient railroad operation. Expected to progress in skill and responsibilities of train operations over time with the eventual goal of becoming the Train Crew Member responsible for locomotive engineering duties. Responsibilities: * Assists in all phases of the safe daily operation of trains. * Operates equipment according to company policies, procedures and practices in all areas, including equipment usage and maintenance, safety (FRA and OSHA), and DOT requirements. * Will operate track switches, couple cars and work on freight trains in yard operations and on the road. * Will move and align various parts of rail equipment to create or build trains. * Review instructions from dispatchers and yardmasters, and discuss with train crew * Multi-tasking - must be able to perform several tasks safely that will require pulling, controlling and maneuvering onto and off of equipment. * Work with customers to ensure accurate movement and placement of cars * Increasing responsibilities expected and required, including the ability to handle locomotive engineering duties. * Train Crew Members are subject to random alcohol and drug testing as per the Federal Railroad Administration Guidelines. * Performs other duties as assigned. Specialized or Technical Knowledge, or Education and Experience: * Must be mechanically inclined and have basic reading and math skills.
