Mr. Balakrishnan has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Power Integrations since January 2002. He has more than 35 years of engineering, marketing and management experience in the semiconductor industry, is the chief inventor of Power Integrations’ TOPSwitch, TinySwitch and EcoSmart technologies and holds 156 U.S. patents.

Gerald Paul was appointed Chief Executive Officer effective January 1, 2005. Paul has served as a Director of the Company since 1993, and has been President of the Company since March 1998. Paul also was Chief Operating Officer from 1996 to 2006. Paul previously was an Executive Vice President of the Company from 1996 to 1998, and President of Vishay Electronic Components, Europe from 1994 to 1996. Paul has been Managing Director of Vishay Electronic GmbH, a subsidiary of the Company, since 1991. Paul has been employed by Vishay and a predecessor company since 1978. Paul possesses extensive experience with the Company, has senior responsibilities for our overall business, and has been instrumental in promoting our strategic advances. His in-depth knowledge of our operations includes the integration of acquired companies and a proven understanding of the challenges facing the Company in all aspects of the business cycle.

Eric Pilaud is an Exec VP:Strategy & Customers at Schneider Electric, Exec VP:Custom Sensors & Tech at Schneider Electric, and Board Member at B&R Industrial Automation. He has worked as Managing Director at Schneider Electric, Executive Vice President at Schneider Electric, and Head at Schneider Electric. Eric works or has worked as MEMBER at Schneider Electric SA Executive committee and Board Member at SYSTEMS ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS LIMITED. He studied at Harvard Business School.

Alex Bouzari brings more than twenty years of experience in the storage industry and a wealth of knowledge in running profitable, fast growth technology companies. Prior to co-founding DataDirect Networks, Mr. Bouzari served as CEO of Personal Writer, Inc., and co-founder of MegaDrive Systems, Inc. Mr. Bouzari holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Engineering and Economics from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), with graduate studies in Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Stanford University.

Mr. Alex Chiming Hui is Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of Pericom Semiconductor Corp. He has been Chief Executive Officer, President and a director of the Company since its inception in June 1990, and was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company in July 1999. Mr. Hui is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Company’s subsidiary, PSE Technology Corporation. From August 1982 to May 1990, Mr. Hui was employed by LSI Logic Corporation, most recently as its Director of Advanced Development. From August 1980 to July 1982, Mr. Hui was a member of the technical staff of Hewlett Packard Company. Mr. Hui holds a B.S.E.E. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.S.E.E. from the University of California at Los Angeles. The Board of Directors has concluded that Mr. Hui should serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company because of his 21 years working as Chief Executive Officer, 31 years of high tech experience and his educational background.

Marina McKay is a Chief Executive Officer at Elevator Controls Corp. and Insurance Consultant at State Farm and is based in Greater Chicago Area. She studied at Elgin Community College between 2011 and 2013.
