Vince Gasparro is currently Managing Director, Corporate Development and Clean Energy Finance at Vancity Community Investment Bank (VCIB). Drawing on over 15 years' experience in capital markets and public policy, Vince is responsible for driving growth and contributing to VCIB’s mission of financing a sustainable tomorrow. This includes originating, structuring and financing transactions in all asset classes that VCIB supports. In addition, Vince directly leads VCIB’s Clean Energy Finance Team, overseeing all origination, transaction structuring, advisory services and the expansion of the bank’s green finance offerings.

Prior to joining VCIB, Vince was Principal Secretary to Toronto Mayor John Tory. He was responsible for the implementation of the Mayor's public policy objectives. In addition, Vince was responsible for outreach and stakeholder relations. This included responsibility for all intergovernmental affairs (both domestic and foreign governments). Vince was also specifically responsible for all matters associated with Toronto Hydro, Toronto Police, Create TO (Affordable Housing Corporation), Toronto Community Housing (Social Housing Corporation) and Toronto Global (Foreign Direct Investment arm of the City of Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area).

Prior to joining the Mayor's Office Vince was a Senior Advisor at Lynx Equity a Toronto based private equity fund. Vince worked for Lynx in various capacities accumulating twelve years of merger and acquisition experience. He had completed acquisitions and financings within different sectors of the economy including technology, renewable energy, and retail. Vince's views on the functioning of North American capital markets as well as the economy at large have been published in the media as well as academic/business journals.

Vince also served as Special Assistant, Ontario to the Prime Minister of Canada as well as worked on two national campaigns.

In 2004, Vince co-founded a not-for-profit called Project Engagement which looked to alleviate poverty in Toronto and the GTA. Vince's efforts did not go unnoticed and in 2010 he was awarded The Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship.

Vince has a B.A. (Honours) from York University, an MSc from the London School of Economics and an Executive MBA from Villanova University. Vince was born and raised in Toronto where he currently resides
