GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Prepares food and serves menus by following standardized recipes, preparation and service methods established by the district child nutrition service department by performing the following duties.

Rotates jobs when necessary for food preparation, cashiering, setting up serving lines, serving, washing dishes and cleaning up assigned work areas.
Assists with counting daily receipts, compiling data for food production records or daily child nutrition reports.
Assists in determining food, equipment and supply needs and monthly inventories of stock.
Adjusts for nutritionally equivalent substitutes and proper use of leftovers as necessary.
Cross trains in all facets of the child nutrition service operation.
Assumes responsibility of maintaining up to date knowledge of technology utilized by the district.

Monitor all food and beverage items for par levels and order accordingly
Ensure high-level of service in all aspects of operations and give each guest a memorable experience from start to finish
Properly handle daily cash deposits
Assure cleanliness of front of the house areas to include all food service spaces, storage areas, dining area, windows, light fixtures, tables and entrance as assigned
Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.

Qualifications - Education, Experience, and Skills • Must be 21 years of age. • 3 to 5 years' experience with casual fine dining atmosphere. • Basic knowledge of wines and wine services. • Computer literacy. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts. • Knowledge of Food Safety, Food Safety Certification or equivalent. • Strong organizational skills. IV. Other Qualifications • Current Hocking College student willing to be trained • Ability to work nights and weekends including, but not limited to Thursdays, 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm; Fridays/Saturdays 4:30 pm to 11:00 pm and Sundays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
