We are looking for a skilled Small Engine Mechanic to assemble, maintain and repair concrete construction machinery along with handling the repair schedule and work orders. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of machines, engines and mechanical systems. An excellent mechanic must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail. They must be able to work with various machines and tools as well as follow all safety precautions. Experience in concrete construction or the construction industry is recommended but not required.

Duties
Responsibilities
Maintain service schedule.
Type up work orders.
Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.
Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability.
Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems.
Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components.
Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery.
Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users.
Keep logs of work and report on issues.
Undertake other warehouse duties as assigned.

Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components
Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers)

What You'll Do
Work with supervision and support from Field supervisor, perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs, maintenance and services on all company and rental equipment. Diagnose the source of trouble and determine the extent of necessary repairs. Employee should keep all materials, tools and equipment in an orderly fashion and maintain a clean work area at all times. Demonstrating safe work habits, proper care for tools and equipment, while following all safety and PPE protocols is required.

POSITION SCOPE
The Heavy Equipment Lube Technician will be involved with servicing and performing light maintenance on the mobile construction equipment at the remote job sites. This individual will be changing fluids, greasing moving parts, changing filters and cleaning equipment. Individuals will be expected to perform their duties outdoors in various weather conditions. Normal hours worked are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm in our off season. Seasonal hours worked are Mon-Fri 730am-530pm and every other Saturday 730am-12pm, with extended hours and on call hours seasonally
What we are looking for:
Associates degree and 5+ years of experience performing service repairs
Ability to perform advanced repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures on machines of the Technician's specialty
Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment
Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions
Advanced Diesel Service Technician education preferred
Must be able to retain positive relationships with co-workers
Valid driver's license required
Candidates must have a valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
Total Rewards Package:
$26-$40+/hr depending on years of experience, PLUS a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000
