In this role, you will support U.S.-based customer operations by managing complex accounts receivable activities, resolving customer credit issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Job Description The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for end-to-end customer issue resolution, credit analysis, and collection activities while partnering closely with internal teams and external customers. Key responsibilities include: Lead end-to-end customer issue resolution management and analysis for assigned customers, researching payments, adjustments, delinquencies, and creditworthiness to identify root causes and implement preventative action plans Perform vigorous collection activities on past-due and delinquent accounts within established credit policies using phone, email, fax, and written communication Partner with sales, customer service, transportation, POD, and other internal teams to resolve credit, returns, pricing, quantity, tax, and delivery-related disputes Research and resolve customer payment deductions through detailed analysis, issuing adjustments for reconciliation or pursuing repayment as appropriate Review and analyze customer orders based on credit policies, account status, and risk to release or maintain credit holds Respond to inbound customer calls and proactively address credit and collection-related inquiries Identify trends, recurring issues, and process gaps to improve customer satisfaction and support continuous improvement initiatives Apply strong analytical skills using reporting systems and tools, including extensive use of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other data platforms Lead or participate in short-term projects with defined objectives and deadlines, ensuring timely and accurate completion Build credibility and trust with customers and internal partners through timely, accurate, and consistent issue resolution Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (required), or bachelor's degree plus 2+ years of relevant customer-facing or accounts receivable experience Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable, collections, customer service, and financial analysis Strong understanding of financial statements, customer behavior, credit risk, delinquent accounts, deductions, payments, adjustments, and reconciliation Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in ambiguous situations where issues are not always straightforward Strong organizational, communication, and customer-focused skills Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn systems remotely and work across multiple platforms simultaneously Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI Experience supporting continuous process improvement and change management initiatives Preferred Experience with customer service and financial systems such as SAP, Salesforce, A Plus, or similar platforms Demonstrated knowledge of negotiation, credit analysis, credit counseling principles, and risk management Experience leading or contributing to Lean Six Sigma initiatives, cross-functional projects, or process improvement efforts Exposure to operations, sales support, retail environments, and complex customer account structures Benefits Dahl Consulting is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees that will allow you to choose the best coverage to meet your family's needs.
