In 2012, Goodman was purchased by Daikin Industries, Ltd and became a member of Daikin Group.

2013

Daikin opened its first American manufacturing facility—employing about 250 people in a 525,000 square feet (48,800 m2) facility in Houston, Texas—in 2013.
