Position Summary:
The Janitor is responsible for the cleanliness of the facility, ensuring a hygienic and safe environment for all employees and visitors. This position involves performing various cleaning tasks, handling waste disposal, and maintaining the overall appearance of the building.
Responsibilities:
1. Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas regularly.
2. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, ensuring all surfaces are dirt-free.
3. Empty trash cans and recycling bins, disposing of waste appropriately.
4. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
5. Restock cleaning supplies and bathroom amenities as needed.
6. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor promptly.
7. Follow safety protocols and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
8. Maintain outdoor areas, including sidewalks and entrances, to ensure cleanliness.
9. Perform additional cleaning tasks as required by the supervisor.
