Lee Dairy has immediate job openings for dependable CDL-B delivery truck drivers to operate a straight truck to deliver products in a safe and timely manner to customers according to the delivery route schedule as determined by the supervisor. Demonstrate high standards of customer service. Communicate frequently with peers, supervisors, and others.
JOB DUTIES:
Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations and policies adhering to all safety practices
Deliver pre-ordered or unscheduled (special orders) products to customers (schools, grocery stores, nursing homes, etc.) according to route schedule and customer delivery expectations (e.g., put deliveries inside coolers and walk-ins) in a safe and timely manner
Follow designated routes and schedules unless otherwise directed by supervisory personnel. Report delivery delays to management due to road conditions, accidents or breakdowns
Based on route design, load and unload product as required at designated stops (manually with hook, 2-wheel cart and/or pallet jack); may include stocking, rotating, and/or ordering of product (varies from route to route)
Collect empty cases
Provide merchandising support based on customer requirements and promote the addition and sales of new products if appropriate
Communicate effectively and maintain good relations with customers, resolve customer complaints, and report any problems to the driver supervisor or manager
Ensure and/or perform proper maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment used (tires, fuel, oil check, etc.) and maintain a clean vehicle
Ensure load is properly secured prior to travel and at each stop and make adjustments when needed
Complete all daily paperwork fully and correctly each day. Complete DOT and customer paperwork including delivery tickets, pre and post trip inspections, driver logs, trip records, and vehicle service reports
Submit all customer paperwork and deposits daily, including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports
Ensure sufficient route inventory levels to meet customer demands while adhering to account inventory control and company distribution procedures; document condition of freight before departure
Attend all driver workshops and training sessions
Use company supported applications or systems properly
Represent DFA positively and professionally at all times during interactions with customers or other individuals

Position Overview:
Drivers at Costa Engelmann, our operating unit in Apopka, FL, play a crucial role in repositioning company-owned equipment across various farm locations. This includes intra-farm movements within individual farms and inter-farm movements between different farm locations. The position primarily involves transporting trailers containing hard-goods, live-goods, and empty trailers. Additionally, drivers will be required to provide assistance with loading and off-loading as needed.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Read and analyze reports and printouts to assess material requirements and operational needs.
Coordinate with the dock team to supply necessary materials on a daily basis, ensuring timely delivery to support production schedules.
Safely load and offload rolling racks from/to the dock using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Monitor material inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
Organize buffer materials and maintain the finish product area to ensure efficient workflow and accessibility.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the designated work area, adhering to company standards and safety protocols.
Operate company-owned and leased/rented Semi Tractors responsibly, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Provide support for shipping processes as required, assisting with loading, unloading, and transportation of goods.
Assist in breaking down racks and other equipment when necessary to facilitate storage or transportation.
Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the designated work area.
Support all shipping process as needed.
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) CLASS A with a clean driving record per company requirements
At least 2 years of experience in operating semi tractors and handling materials in a warehouse or logistics environment.
Ability to read and interpret reports, prioritize tasks, and make data-driven decisions.
Experience in loading and unloading rolling racks and other materials safely and efficiently.
Working Condition & Physical Requirements
Monday to Friday shift schedule with potential for additional hours as needed.
Effective verbal communication skills with a keen aptitude for listening, understanding, and following directions. Capable of loading and offloading rolling racks to and from the dock.
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day, both manually and with heavy equipment.
Able to push or move products on rolling racks weighing between 50 to 100 pounds, occasionally up to 150 pounds.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Proficiency in driving and working in various traffic and weather conditions.
Strong observational and auditory abilities essential for the role.
Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods.
Regular tasks include sitting, standing, kneeling, stooping, bending, climbing stairs, and ladders.
Routine lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of materials.
Maintenance of a valid DOT Medical Card.

SUMMARY: Operating delivery trucks for liquid fuel, bulk oil and DEF, and propane to Sunrise customers.
Requirements
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Load, secure and deliver propane, liquid fuel, and lubricants products deemed necessary by your supervisor. Must adhere to Sunrise standard operating procedures for loading and delivery of such products.
Inspect vehicle and documents on daily driver's report. Driver is responsible for regular scheduled and preventative maintenance on their assigned vehicle. Must keep all safety inspections current and all equipment in safe working order.
Keep assigned vehicles, equipment and work areas clean.
Adhere to all company and government policies and laws concerning transportation and handling of all products and be familiar with NFPA 58/.
Assist in repairs of facilities and equipment.
Accurately and efficiently complete all necessary paperwork.
Provide friendly, courteous customer service.
Project a favorable image of the company to promote its aims and objectives and foster enhanced public recognition and acceptance of all its areas of endeavor.
Effectively communicate with customers and associates.
Adhere to all company and government safety policies and laws (i.e., viewing safety films, understanding right to know laws, fire, and explosion precautions, lock out - tag out, etc.)
Assist Agronomy in the Spring

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
