Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Dispatch Specialist to join our dynamic operations team. In this critical role, you will be the central hub of communication for our Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) and drivers, ensuring the efficient execution of daily routes and the highest standards of delivery performance. Your ability to solve problems in real-time, monitor key metrics, and support our field team will be essential to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
Route Management & Dispatch: Schedule and dispatch DSPs and drivers to assigned routes based on induction schedules, customer demands, and on-the-fly requests.
Real-Time Driver Support: Provide live support to drivers during delivery hours, assisting with exception handling, navigation issues, and delivery problems to ensure successful first-attempt deliveries.
Performance Monitoring & Training: Monitor driver performance against company standards, including photo quality and delivery success rates. Partner with management to coach and train drivers on best practices as outlined in the company delivery guide.
Issue Resolution & Communication: Proactively contact drivers, DSPs, and recipients via softphone (calls/text) and company-provided systems to verify and resolve delivery issues, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Field Support & Escalation: Periodically conduct ride-alongs with drivers within assigned territories to directly observe, diagnose, and resolve chronic delivery problems.
Delivery Failure Analysis: Meticulously monitor, review, and validate the reasons for all failed delivery attempts. Work with drivers to address and correct any discrepancies in their reporting.
Returns Processing: Efficiently process all returned undeliverable packages at the sorting center to facilitate valid redelivery attempts or final disposition.
Team Collaboration: Assist management with DSP and driver recruitment, screening, onboarding, and performance monitoring activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
HS diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in a dispatch, logistics, or fleet coordination role.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relay information clearly and calmly under pressure.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Tech-savvy, with proficiency in using laptops, dispatch software, and communication tools (softphones, SMS).
Ability to analyze data and driver metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Willingness to periodically conduct ride-alongs in the field.

**_The Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME)_** is an independent research organization at the University of Washington (UW). Its mission is to deliver to the world timely, relevant, and scientifically valid evidence to improve health policy and practice. IHME carries out its mission through a range of projects within different research areas including the Global Burden of Diseases (GBD), Injuries, and Risk Factors; Future Health Scenarios; Cost Effectiveness and Efficiency; Resource Tracking; and Impact Evaluations.
**IHME has an outstanding opportunity for two** **_Temporary_** **Data Extraction Specialists to join the** **_Reproductive, Genitourinary and Digestive (RGUD)_** **disease estimation team.** The main purpose of these positions is to provide highly specialized oversight and guidance of routine but complex extraction processes for input data used in modeling at IHME. The Data Extraction Specialist will devise and execute protocols to extract, collate, transform, and clean all available relevant quantitative data from surveys, censuses, literature, and administrative records to support estimation of the burden of diseases and risk factors in the RGUD portfolio, with special emphasis on the burden of sexually transmitted infections, maternal disorders, gynecological conditions, and pregnancy-associated risk factors. They will use and refine artificial intelligence-based tools for further workflow optimization (e.g. for data extraction protocols). They will archive, catalog, and annotate datasets according to Institute standards, as well as develop and perform quality assurance routines to ensure the quality and usability of data across the research process.
This position will work with dynamic teams of researchers and staff at all levels. The Data Extraction Specialist is expected to become specialized in data pertaining to relevant content areas and will consult with researchers as needed to amass data necessary for analysis, presentation, and publication. They will guide and coordinate other personnel engaged in systematic reviews and data extraction.
The incumbent must have a strong command of a variety of research needs and analytic functions. The Data Extraction Specialist must be able to anticipate the needs of research teams, as well as other functional teams across IHME as it pertains to the work of data extraction. Frequently the individual will be given assignments where desired end results are identified but there is no preset path for achieving them. The individual must therefore carry out scoping and planning in order to resolve questions and produce results.
This position will work alongside other research staff on complementary projects and will require a foundational knowledge of IHME's work, as well as core technical skills and collective problem-solving. Overall, the Data Extraction Specialist will be a critical member of an agile, dynamic team. This position is contingent on project funding.

About the Role: Acts as a liaison with customers, during all phases of onboarding a new banking relationship. Manages and monitors existing customer relationships on an ongoing, day-to-day, and transactional basis working in close partnership with the business unit and other departments throughout the bank. Is relied upon by the business unit for knowledge of required processes and requirements needed to provide an exceptional customer experience.
Partners with the Relationship Team to obtain and review information required for underwriting, documentation and closing of C&I, construction and term loans from moderate to complex in nature, as well as all deposit accounts and other services.
Set up, process, and monitor documents and files for package completion to meet specifications of a customer request and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Independently prepare data input sheets and provide required information for customer relationships to be boarded on the banks servicing system(s).
Maintain files with all required documentation for third-party review and prepares files for timely audits.
Work with attorneys and other financial or legal resources to obtain the correct, accurate documents to fully protect the financial institution's interests in the credit relationship.
Set up and monitor loan and financial ticklers to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Follow up with customer to obtain all necessary information.
Review and resolve a variety of customer problems/issues regarding bank products and services and facilitate processing of customer account maintenance and advance requests. Responsible for GL Certification which includes research, balancing and certification.
Analyze property and liability insurance, title policy including title exceptions and UCC searches to ensure compliance with bank policy and procedure.
Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

About You:
H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related discipline (Preferred)
More than 10 years Banking, loan administration and documentation experience (Required)
Must possess the highest level of specialized experience and knowledge of the commercial department/function and proficiency in preparing complicated reports and/or documents. Solid loan administration experience with knowledge of complex lending structures, letters of credit, borrower-based lending, multi-phased construction and multiple collateral properties.
Must have knowledge in real estate construction draw analysis, reconciliation and disbursement.
