The Database Administrator is responsible for the health, accuracy, and efficiency of the organization's donor database (e.g., eTapestry). The Database Administrator is the primary administrator of Salesforce NPSP and integrated third-party systems. This role ensures data integrity, security, and optimization of Salesforce to support fundraising, ticketing, marketing, finance, and organizational reporting needs. The Database Administrator provides system upkeep, troubleshooting, training, and reporting support across departments to help the organization achieve its strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Database Management & System Administration Maintain Salesforce database, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security. Oversee system upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations. Troubleshoot issues and serve as the primary contact for Salesforce-related problems. Manage integrations with third-party applications (e.g. bookkeeping, ticketing, email marketing, analytics tools, access control). Implement and document standard operating procedures and data management best practices. Conduct regular backups and perform routine system maintenance. Operations & Data Support Input, track, and maintain payments, contacts, opportunities, campaigns, and related data. Monitor data health; perform audits, deduplication, and data cleanup.
