Job Description:
The candidate will perform job duties as an Atlassian Administrator including the following:
Workflow Management - Design, build, and maintain custom workflows, issue types, screens, fields, and permission schemes that reflect each team's processes.
System Maintenance - monitoring Atlassian application health and performance, addressing any issues. Aligning procedures from different programs to current processes and ensuring all application instances are running efficiently
Automation - design, own, and maintain Jira and Confluence automations-including ScriptRunner, creating reusable Groovy/JavaScript script libraries-to eliminate repetitive manual effort, enforce governance, generate real time notifications for the right stakeholders, and boost consistency, efficiency, and overall team productivity.
Integration - managing 3rd party plugins and integrations, to include integrating Atlassian applications with other tools and systems.
Project Management - creating and organizing projects within Jira. Configuring project settings with unique issue types, priorities, and resolution. Creating and refining custom fields and items specific to each team.
Knowledge Management - configure Confluence spaces, page templates, and permissions; ensure content hierarchy supports knowledge‑base growth. Help customize spaces and pages to meet requirements.
User Management - managing users/groups/permissions within Jira. Assigning roles and permissions to specified groups/users.
Basic Qualifications:
Level 3: 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD, or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree; Level 4: 8 Years with Bachelors in Science; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree
