Education & Experience

Beginner-level proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook required

The Fundraising DatabaseAdministrator manages the critical fundraising systems and key operations support activities for development. Use required technology to maintain daily, monthly, and annual required documentation as scheduled.
Serve as the organization's primary subject matter expert for the Raiser's Edge (RE NXT) database and participate as a member of the development team to provide expertise regarding all fundraising related systems, data, and reporting solutions.
Oversee the organization's fundraising platforms and work closely with senior leadership to develop solutions to fully leverage and optimize the development technology ecosystem to meet the short- and long-term objectives of the development department.
Serve as the primary resource for development reporting needs. This role is responsible for the timely fulfillment of requests from end-users for reports and list pulls, as well as the maintenance of existing reports.
Develop, maintain, and document the procedures and processes associated with the organization's fundraising platforms, data integrity protocols, and prospect development practices.
Establish strategies and plans for the maintenance, use, support, and development of fundraising information systems. These will include new technologies and systems that will directly benefit the users and programs of the development department.
Develop and implement a robust system of prospect development in support of principal and major gift fundraising, while ensuring that the fundraising platform is fully leveraged in support of this area.
Work with Information Technology staff to ensure that appropriate information is shared among administrative systems in compliance with industry practices and institutional policy.
