Joseph J. Porfeli has served as Chief Executive Officer at Hyperactive Technologies, Inc., since 2004. He has more than 30 years of executive experience in the high-tech sector. Prior to joining HyperActive, Mr. Porfeli served as Chief Executive Officer of Software & Information Technologies for Spencer Trask & Company for eleven years. As an executive in the pharmaceutical software industry, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TechRx beginning in 1999 until its purchase by NDCHealth Corp in 2003. Following the acquisition, Mr. Porfeli stayed on for one year as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Before joining Spencer Trask, he was instrumental in the rapid growth of EIS International, a leader in the call center industry as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. In his seven years at EIS, he led the company’s public offering and through its acquisition of four industry leaders. Mr. Porfeli began his career at CompuServe, and went on to hold senior level management positions at Sprint International and TeleNet Communications. Mr. Porfeli serves as a member of the board of directors of MetroSplash Systems Group, Inc. and Reflex Security, Inc. In June 1993, Ernst & Young and Inc. Magazine named Mr. Porfeli as the Southern New England Entrepreneur of the Year for Technology.

Jeremy Friedman was Co-Founder and CEO of Schoology, the nation’s leading K-12 learning management and assessment platform. Jeremy co-founded Schoology alongside Bill Kindler, Ryan Hwang, and Tim Trinidad while earning his BA in Economics at Washington University in St. Louis. Jeremy believes that education technology should improve the learning experience and enable educators in K-12 schools and districts to achieve their own vision of successful personalized learning. Today, Jeremy focuses on managing Schoology's product growth strategy within PowerSchool. He works closely with customers to understand requirements and opportunities for innovation, guiding Schoology’s product vision to ensure that users and customers are able to continue advancing what is possible in education.
