Purpose of Role
As MFFU seeks registration as an Introducing Broker (IB) and builds its own proprietary trading platform, the Head of Compliance will be responsible for ensuring that these initiatives meet all applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
Compliance Leadership
Lead the design and ongoing management of MFFU's enterprise compliance program, including policies, monitoring, and reporting systems.

Compliance Program Development
Develop, implement, and maintain policies related to trade surveillance, data protection, risk management, and conflicts of interest.
Establish robust AML/KYC procedures aligned with futures and brokerage operations.
Collaborate with product and technology teams to embed “compliance by design” into platforms and workflows.
Lead regular compliance training across all departments and promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and transparency.
Serve as the compliance stakeholder in the development of MFFU's proprietary trading platform, ensuring integration of:
Customer data protection and retention protocols
Regulatory reporting (e.g., NFA/CFTC)
Risk management controls, including pre-trade risk checks and margin controls
Partner with engineering, UX, and product teams to implement compliance-by-design architecture and user flows for onboarding, trading, and account management.

Oversee cybersecurity compliance in accordance with NFA/CFTC guidance and future SEC/CISA expectations as platform matures.

Monitoring & Governance
Review and interpret regulatory changes, ensuring timely communication and adaptation within the firm.
Conduct internal audits and testing to identify, assess, and remediate compliance risks.
Report key compliance risks and trends to the COO, CEO, and Board of Directors.
Oversee investigation and remediation of compliance issues, ensuring documentation and corrective action.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or related field required; advanced degree (JD, MBA, or LLM) preferred.
10+ years of experience in compliance, risk, or regulatory roles within a futures, brokerage, or fintech organization.
Deep knowledge of CFTC, NFA, and CME Group rules, futures industry regulations, and Introducing Broker operations.
Proven success in building or scaling compliance frameworks within a regulated or transitioning financial entity.
Strong understanding of AML/KYC requirements, trade surveillance systems, and data governance.

Act as liaison between departments and external areas as required. Schedule periodic meetings with IS, Vendors and Users to ensure effective communications.
Identify and encourage user department procedural changes.
Conduct workflow sessions with end users.
Demonstrate system to users.
Perform system adaptations and modifications according to the prepared specifications.
Function as a project implementation manager for clinical system related projects.
Assist in developing departmental education and training materials.
Monitor/review procedural materials.
Refine sample test plans for conversion, interfaces and applications.
Assist in the development of a Live Event Plan.
Provide post-live application support.
Work with Project Management to obtain sign-offs.
Complete assigned work plan tasks.
Maintain tables, files, profiles, codes sets, etc.
Provide after-hours support of clinical applications per schedule.
Learn and assist with other applications as directed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Extensive experience with Cerner PowerChart and Scheduling module
Experienced in Systems Development Life Cycle
Project management and project management software skills
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years' experience with Healthcare Information Systems is required. Implementation project management experience and hands on experience implementing vendor clinical application software, along with a strong desire to learn other technologies is required.
Minimum 5 years' build and maintenance experience with Cerner PowerChart and Scheduling is required.
Exhibit the ability to communicate effectively in a customer service environment Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with both internal and external hospital contacts.
Must have excellent verbal and written skills.
Experience in the use of Client Server Clinical systems is preferred.
The use of personal computer hardware and software packages, MS Office is required.
Ability to complete project tasks and assignments on time is required. Applications programming experience a plus.

Validate data and coordinate data fixes with engineering and business teams.
Run SQL queries and extracts to analyze data and identify issues.
Facilitate workshops and meetings with business SMEs, data engineers and implementation partner to gather business logic and requirements.
Translate business rules/ workflows into technical requirements for data engineers.
Maintain documentation and support handoffs to implementers and internal owners.
