Assist in the development and implementation of specifications and procedures related to the handling of department business to facilitate lower costs in the creation and maintenance of drawings and documentation. Coordinate with Project Managers, purchasing agents, inspectors, engineering contractors, and construction contractors relating to design drawing content, materials and construction issues. Coordinate with Project Managers on design and project logistical issues to assure effective, linear progress of the project. Assist in the drafting associated with daily operation of the system. Provide guidance so to enhance the ability of others to obtain required information through the use of departmentally developed tools and methods. Assist in the development and implementation of techniques for more efficient utilization of CADD and recommending and specifying appropriate drafting software applications. Participate in preliminary project site surveys, to identify potential constraints and any existing system points of connection. Facilitate and maintain records regarding technical communications among stakeholders, including Project Management, Operations, Company Technical Service Departments, and Third Parties.
