Job Summary:
Prepares and develops EDS deliverables for clients. Coordinates logistics and data gathering of subordinates and contractors. Assist engineers in developing models, one-lines, and drawings of electrical infrastructure and systems. Works independently with little to no supervision. Works closely with electrical engineers to design electrically complete and safe power systems based on sound engineering practices standards in the industry. Senior EDS Designers can oversee electrical construction projects keeping all construction adherent to the company's design specifications. Extensive familiarity with metering equipment with the ability to understand data and apply analyzed information to design.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborating with other members of the engineering team to develop designs and drawings
Preparing detailed design drawings, calculating materials requirements, and developing cost estimates for projects
Develop EDS models
Maintaining records of engineering designs and drawings in an electronic database
Developing electrical design standards for use in projects

Responsibilities
Job Objective:
Contribute to engineering excellence by linking design theory and practical application, translating critical design concepts into workable plans for tangible end-products.
Prepare engineering drawings from rough sketches or general engineering information
Create designs and detailed plans for commercial, industrial, and civil sector structures and systems
Handle technical assignments of substantial variety and complexity
Prepare mechanical or digital drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and models using CAD/CADD software

Job Title: Field Walkdown Designer Job Description & Skill Requirement: • Carry out Field Equipment Walkdown and P&ID v/s As-is condition verification. (Must have Field experience. Person in R&D will not be suitable)
• Carry out P&ID/ Engineering document markups based on changes observed in the field.
• Capture photos of equipment, covering different views and its connections using client developed inspection applications from handheld devices (customer provided or personal).
• Capture equipment data, such as field identification, nameplate data, and any other required technical Information.
• Can involve lifting of equipment up to 30 lbs.
• Submit the reports of field walkdown to town office on a daily-basis.
• Drive company's 4x4 on a daily basis to reach facilities - can involve off road driving.
• Keep the vehicle in up and running condition.
• Submit expenses on the Company's online system.
• This is a field-based role, 40 hrs a week, with minimum expectations to:
• Imbibe safety practices while carrying out the above tasks.
• Stay overnight outside of Midland at a Customer approved facility, if the facility is far off from Midland.
• Rent 4x4 vehicle at Company's expense, if Company's vehicle is not available.
• Maintain professional conduct at all times, and adhere to Coordinator's instructions on day-to-day tasks.

The Piping Design Coordinator works closely with the Project Manager, Field Engineering, Operations and Maintenance on multiple projects, to coordinate the development of projects from inception to completion. This is accomplished by providing and tracking the exchange of information to all stakeholders, including the corporate design team, third party engineering contractors, installation contractors, and operations, related to the areas of design and drafting; so to ensure that all relevent and necessary Company or industry standard specifications are followed. The Piping Design Coordinator must have proven experience, skills, and ability in resolving technical disputes, expediting work flow, and meeting project deadlines as it relates to project design and drafting requirements. The Piping Design Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Facilitate project design and drafting management as necessary to ensure the successful completion of all project related activities. Detailed items include:
Providing standardized PFD / P&ID symbology for drawing development
Providing / Verifying equipment, instrument, and valve tagging numbers
Providing / Verifying piping line numbers
Initiating and providing new Facility Codes for grass root facility projects.
Resolving drawing development issues
Working with 3rd parties to identify existing drawings for editing
Reviewing and identifying any deviation from the Company standards for drawing development
Perform technical and administrative reviews of design packages submitted by third parties to ensure compliance with all relevant Company specifications, industry codes and standards, and accepted practices. Details include:

Preparation of process flow diagrams (PFD), piping & instrument diagrams (P&ID), general equipment layouts, facility plot plans, and equipment and instrument lists for various company plant, pipeline and related facilities construction projects.
Assist in the development of Project Scopes, Engineering / Design Scopes, and Construction Scopes of Work, for use in the establishment of contracts with third parties.
Attend project meetings to obtain full understanding of customer needs and scope definitions, and to provide technical input toward efficient and effective designs.
Assist in the review of man hour estimates and work schedules to assure efficiency in the execution of projects.
Coordinate the distribution of design packages related to projects to ensure that all stakeholders are allowed input, and that all necessary information is exchanged.
Provide design and drafting services for time / budget critical projects.
Provide design and drafting services associated with the preliminary development of potential projects.
Create parts lists by performing material take-offs to ensure the timely availability of items.
