Position Summary
SAMGI is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its Trauma \/ Acute Care Surgery and Surgical Critical Care program at Desert Regional Medical Center. This role supports trauma surgeons and critical care teams in a high\-acuity, high\-volume Level I trauma and ICU environment, with opportunities to participate in both clinical care and academic activities.
The APP functions as a core member of the multidisciplinary care team, working closely with surgeons, residents, fellows, ICU staff, and consulting services.
Responsibilities
Assist in the evaluation and management of trauma, acute care surgery, and surgical ICU patients
Participate in trauma activations, surgical consults, and emergency general surgery coverage

Be able to Lift, Stoop, Bend, and pull up to 40 lbs.
Location and Work Environment:
