Essential Duties and responsibilities * Ensure that each pet and guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintain outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service * Willing and able to step into and facilitate care in any department necessary to provide a trusting and friendly environment for the animals and clients * Cross-training between grooming, customer service, and daycamp in order to be a well-rounded and helpful aid to the managers * Monitor socialization of dogs and able to step in and speak up when potential incidents arise * Able to communicate with clients in order to keep them up to date on animals in care * Cleaning and upkeep of facility as needed * Grooming duties such as bathing and nail trims to provide a full service environment Qualifications: * Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time * Ability to lift at least 40 lbs on a regular basis and up to 50 lbs on occasion * Ability to walk dogs of all sizes on leashes * Comfortable working around pet hair and dander * A passion for animals and previous pet handling experience * Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays * Previous dog bathing and groom technician experience What's in it for you? * Health, Dental and Vision Insurance * Weekly paychecks * Training and growth potential * 401k plus employer match * Paid time off and paid holidays * Free Pet Boarding and Dog DayCamp * Discounts on Training and Grooming * Bring your dog to work with you! * Benefits may vary per position and department This description is representative only and is not exhaustive of all the tasks this position may be required to perform.
