Essential Duties & Responsibilities Schedule and manage appointment times for container pickups and returns at marine and rail terminals using appointment‑based systems Make and confirm pickup appointments for import and export containers Verify correct container return locations for each steamship line and ensure compliance with terminal requirements Coordinate terminal cut‑off times and appointment availability to maximize efficiency and minimize delays Communicate appointment details and changes to drivers, carriers, and internal teams Monitor terminal access, gate hours, and congestion to proactively adjust schedules Ensure accurate documentation and data entry related to appointments and container movements Resolve appointment issues, missed gates, or terminal changes as they arise Maintain organized records of appointments, returns, and terminal interactions REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE -Minimum 5 years dispatching- dealing with brokers, clients, drivers, etc. - MUST be the person that is working directly with the drivers.
