Specific physical requirements of the position include the ability to:
+ Walk and stand for prolonged periods of time.
+ Read standardized work instructions, operate machines and tools, and perform quality inspections.
+ Promptly detect and respond to safety instructions, alarms, and signals. Wear personal protective equipment, for example: safety glasses, gloves, hats, ear plugs, and safety shoes.
+ Work in a loud manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled (conditions can be hot or cold).

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Electrical Engineering/Electrical Engineering Technology, Controls Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
+ Must be graduating between August 2026 and June 2028
+ Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week
+ Must be willing to work in a plant environment

Job Description
Purpose:
· The Apprentice Service Technician must be a current student or graduate of an automotive technician training school. The apprentice is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned by his/her team leader.
Apprentice Technician is guaranteed a minimum monthly income during their apprenticeship period. Tuition reimbursement assistance is included.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· The apprentice technician is assigned a 'Mentor' usually a Master Technician to assist him/her in acclimating to dealership operations in addition to sharing the Mentors technical knowledge. And assisting the apprentice as necessary.
· Perform work as outlined on repair order..
Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
· Call upon your Mentor, Team Leader or Shop Foreman when you have a question or need assistance.
· Examine the vehicle to determine if additional service work is recommended.
· Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
· Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
