This role involves managing Dolby's products used by industry partners to deliver exceptional entertainment experiences at home. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the entire product lifecycle: gather requirements, define features, own the roadmap, and collaborate with engineering and industry partners. Work closely with stakeholders to define products and solutions that meet their needs. Make strategic trade-off decisions and communicate your strategy to the broader organization. Collaborate with various functions at Dolby, including ecosystem teams, marketing, sales, customer support, finance, and legal. Travel occasionally to Sydney, Australia, and other locations for customer and partner visits. Products You Will Manage: Dolby Atmos FlexConnect: Own the product, evolving the current offering while building a future where every wireless speaker is enhanced by Dolby technology. This includes enabling technologies and innovations such as static and real-time device mapping and calibration, new device types, and work with wireless protocols and standards. You will iterate and develop potential solutions, identify what works, and create a product roadmap for wireless speakers. AC-4: An audio codec built into billions of consumer electronics devices, improving quality and compression efficiency. Dolby Atmos: An immersive audio format providing amazing sound experiences on Dolby Atmos-capable devices. Qualifications: 10+ years of product management experience with a proven track record. Technical skills to engage with global engineering teams, preferably with knowledge of embedded software, SDKs, and audio technologies. Experience in the consumer electronics industry, especially with audio products such as AVRs, DMAs, STBs, TVs, Soundbars, Smart speakers, portable speakers, and/or mobile phones. Demonstrated expertise in building ecosystems by enabling multiple companies to work togther for greater success. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred. Personal Attributes: Ownership mindset with a track record of measurable results. This role reports to the VP of Home Devices and is based at Dolby HQ in San Francisco. #LI-SW1 The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $184,800 - $253,900,which can vary if outside this location,plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity.
