Chuck Ferry is the Vice President and General Manager for ARMA Global Corporation leading a USSOCOM focused business unit with over 1,000 employees supporting nearly every major SOF headquarters around the globe. Chuck previously served as the ARMA Vice President of Operations from 2010 – 2014 during a period of significant growth. Prior to joining ARMA, he worked as an Operations Manager, Business Developer, and Consultant within the defense industry. Chuck retired from the U.S. Army in 2009 after serving 26 years of active duty with Infantry, Ranger, Special Forces, and SOF Units. He commanded at every level from Squad to Joint Battalion Task Force and was selected to command an Infantry Brigade prior to requesting retirement. He served five combat tours (48 months) in Somalia, Afghanistan, and Iraq. In 1993, he participated in the battle depicted in the movie, “Blackhawk Down”. In 2001, he participated in the initial special operations parachute assault into Afghanistan. From 2003 to 2005, he participated in numerous classified SOF operations in Afghanistan and Iraq; from 2006 to 2008, he commanded a rifle battalion task force that fought in East Ramadi (Anbar Province) during the “tribal awakening”. Awards include the Silver Star medal (Iraq); Bronze Star Medal with “V” (Somalia); Combat Infantryman’s Badge (2d Award); Special Forces Tab, Ranger Tab, Master Parachutists Badge w/Combat Jump Star; and Pathfinder Badge. He earned his BA from Brigham Young University and is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
