Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor. * None. Work Environment * Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors, such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights. * Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes. Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting. * Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time. Education and Experience * HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility. Job Summary : The Yard Laborer is responsible for the general support and maintenance of the yard with tasks such as tool inventory, maintenance of heavy equipment and trucks, and logistics and coordination of material deliveries at the branch. Essential Functions: Perform daily inspections, verify that equipment is in good mechanical and safe operating condition upon being checked in/out, and reporting any defects or needed repairs to supervisor. Responsible for red tagging equipment and tools that need repair. Assist drivers and mechanics with loading/unloading and preparing materials for jobs as necessary. Responsible for maintaining and verifying stock levels for re-ordering are accurate and appropriate. Operate small equipment and machinery as needed, such as a forklift, telehandler, skid steer, and/or loader to move materials, load and unload trucks, and use of basic hand tools. Maintain inventory, organization of yard, the materials & equipment, and assist with day-to-day operations. Regular cleaning and general labor duties of Branch Yard, Office, and Shop may include sweeping, shoveling, and overall cleanup-up of any area, and/or equipment. Pick up parts from local vendors, and/or deliver parts to job sites when needed. Assist other employees when needed and willing to cross-train in other positions. Job Description We are looking for an experienced MAINTENANCE STOREROOM CLERK to join our Lithia Springs, GA plant. This is a fulltime position Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with likelihood of overtime. We offer competitive benefits and salary, plus up to $1.00/hr increase after 90 days. About the Role Responsibilities: Handle all MP2 and physical spare parts inventor duties which includes receiving parts, putting them into stock and entering them in the MP2 inventory data base. Ensure that the proper spare parts are in stock.2. Monitor and assign all manual work orders and process them into work orders which will enable the maintenance department to have proper tracking of work performed. Generate and print all essential reports for plant management which will ensure proper communication of work performed by maintenance and on-site request inputting by production. Conduct over-all maintenance of the MP2 system which will result in a reliable system. Establish and maintain a valid and current BOM for all equipment in MP2 which will result in an accurate equipment records. Monitor inventory locations in MP2 and in the physical storage which will result in being able to quickly find parts. Verifies warehouse inventory by inputting and adding supplies received to current inventory levels. Ready and able to lift up to 50 pounds and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. About You We Require: 2 - 5 years experience in a similar field. Skilled with Microsoft Office and CMMS Safety-minded with thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and of related safety practices. Remarkable sense of urgency. Great work ethic and impeccable attendance. Ability to understand technical service manuals and maintain basic records for repair work done. Ability to perform assigned tasks properly and in a timely manner. Ability to operate personal computer and knowledge of basic computer applications, including computer generated parts and service manuals. Maintain a current state Driver's License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record. Good communication and interpersonal relationships.
