Maintaining usage proficiency on all customer-related systems and software including the maintenance of customer records (systems include, but are not limited to: customer check ordering, ATM/Debit card ordering and maintenance, account and identity verification, etc.)
Possessing and maintaining knowledge of all Bank products, services, policies, and procedures so that they can be effectively communicated to the employees and customers
Ensuring compliance issues are properly administered.
Being available to travel to any branch location as requested by management, as well as work on Saturdays, when needed

RESPONSIBILITIES
Underwrite mortgage loans through SimpliBorrow/Special Projects in accordance with Conventional / FHA DE and internal guidelines ensuring compliance with company and investor standards.
Analyze files to ensure loans meet all program and product requirements for designated investor/agency.
Review and analyze the loan application and supporting documents in order to determine if the borrower is capable of paying back the mortgage.
Request additional information as needed on all documents to help determine loan risk.
Counsel sales on potential counteroffers and communicating loan decisions to sales teams.
Meet all departmental goals for productivity, quality, corporate service level commitments and adherence to all fair lending practices.
Remain current on all product/investor guidelines as well as company policies and procedures.
Effectively manage daily and weekly/monthly review goals.
Communicate and document reasons for approval or rejection of loans so clients and loan officers are well-informed of decisions.
SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES
Attend and participate in all Monthly Awards Ceremonies, Corporate Gatherings (including travelling to headquarters quarterly) , Sales Calls & Training Events. Read all newsletters and bulletins to remain current on corporate policies, procedures, and developments.
MEASUREMENTS OF SUCCESS
Ability to do equations and arithmetic in order to avoid costly economic errors on behalf of Embrace Home Loans.
Analyze and collect borrower financial information, documentation and records in order to identify and prevent financial risks to the company.
Manage loan pipeline to ensure that deadlines are met on or before due date in order to keep the pipeline flowing properly.
Work alongside internal team members such as loan originators, loan processors and closing officers to provide a constant flow of communication regarding the loan application status.
