ROLE SUMMARY: This Co-Op is open to applicants who are available from June-December 2026 At the Research Pilot Brewery you will be part of a team managing an area of our brewing process. You will be manually moving beer, grinding in malt, and reporting data to upper management…think of us as a very efficient Microbrewery in the middle of the largest brewery in the country. You are going to be a part of our company's Innovations group which is responsible for the development of new products and processes. You will be challenged constantly here to provide NEW high-quality beers and flavored malt beverages (FMB's) in a SAFE and efficient manner to support the future growth of our company. There are many things that you will be doing here throughout your Co-Op but the one thing I can promise is that you will not be bored. Among day-to-day production, you will be asked to manage an improvement project, present a ‘Beer Science' topic to your peers, own an area of the brewery to ensure it has all the tools we need, and present about everything you learned to our director and other Innovation leaders. This is not like many engineering co-ops you may encounter out there. It is very hands on and manual. You will be moving hoses, opening valves, cleaning tanks, transferring products, centrifuging beer, etc. To complete these tasks, you will be working with the equipment you are currently learning about in school. There are flow meters, plate and frame coolers, glycol jacketed tanks, yeast separators, steam heaters, and many lab instruments that you will be responsible for calibrating and operating. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Introduction to the company with local Leadership team, to learn about Anheuser-Busch's overall strategy, business functions, and people structure. Field Experience in our brewery operations to understand the brewing routine of the business, followed by the opportunity to deep dive into a project within the areas of the brewery Work intimately with the Innovations team on new process techniques and new recipes. Data entry and observation notation will be very critical to the role. Experience moving beer, grinding malt, testing new flavors, and reporting data for the largest brewery in the country. The Role: Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a/an Analytical Organic Lab Intern to join our team for the Summer 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 12-14 weeks in duration. The Analytical Organic Chemist Intern is responsible for performing experiments to evaluate liquid filtration and purification products in our Metrology Labs. Furthermore, this position includes the development and validation of a new organic analysis method with advanced instruments to evaluate different filter and purifier materials to support membrane R&D and NPD on developing leading-edge filtration and purification products. The co-op will gain valuable experience in analytical testing for semi-conductor filters/purifiers while being given a developmental opportunity in an industrial setting. What You'll Do: • Conduct organic analysis using GC-MS, Pyrolysis-GC-MS, LC-MS, G-NVR, and TOC. • Analyze test results and provide recommendations for optimizing testing methods. • Maintain accurate records and document the new testing method. • Present project progress in group meetings. • You will be involved in one or more of following projects • Develop and validate a new method under the direction of a senior scientist and establish a new method for qualitative and quantitative analysis of organic impurities. • Build up internal library/database with LC-QToF to increase efficiency on unknown compounds identification. • Participate in organic impurities mapping in different solvent to provide valuable information to internal customers for solvent picking. • Developing TOC method for corrosive solvent used in Semiconductor production. What We Seek: • Must have chemistry lab experience • Experience in handling chemicals, operating laboratory equipment, generating and interpreting data. • Detail-oriented • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment • Demonstrates clear communication skills and motivation to learn. • Knowledge of organic analysis and organic chemistry basics is a plus. • Knowledge and experience in GC-MS, LC-MS, HPLC is a plus. Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year: • Chemistry, material science, or chemical engineering. • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program more than 2 years • Graduation date of December 2026 or later Eligibility • Entegris does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
