Creative Designer
International Flooring Company
Hiring immediately job in Dalton, GA
International Flooring Company is seeking a highly capable, well rounded Creative Designer to join our growing marketing team. This role is ideal for a designer who is confident in execution and equally interested in contributing creative thinking beyond day to day production work.
The Creative Designer will work closely with the Marketing Director to help bring the brand vision to life through thoughtful design, creative problem solving, and collaborative ideation. While this position includes hands on production design, especially during certain seasons within a lean, fast-paced environment, it also offers meaningful opportunities to contribute to campaign development, branding initiatives, and strategic marketing concepts through strong visual storytelling.
As a growing company, priorities shift throughout the year. There will be periods where this role leans more heavily into foundational and production design work, followed by periods that allow for higher level creative thinking, ideation, and campaign development. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working across this spectrum and understands that strong execution creates the foundation for more strategic creative opportunities.
This role is best suited for a designer who understands how design supports business goals, enjoys ownership, and is excited to grow alongside a developing brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Collaboration and Ideation
o Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director to execute and evolve the brand's creative vision together.
o Contribute ideas, concepts, and visual approaches for campaigns, programs, and marketing initiatives.
o Help challenge and improve creative solutions through thoughtful discussion and problem solving.
o Translate marketing objectives into clear and compelling visual and messaging solutions.
Design Execution
o Own design work from concept through final production, a wide range including:
o Creative marketing campaigns and program builds
o Social media creation and ideation for campaigns
o Brand and identity assets
o Brochures, sales support collateral, and advertising materials
o Sample labels & packaging concepts
o Swag, business cards, and internal production materials
o Photography & media management, photoshoot concepts & strategic planning
o Adapt designs for various formats, channels, and audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
o Balance foundational design tasks with more complex creative projects as business needs evolve.
Marketing, Advertising, and Retail Support
o Assist with co-op advertising programs and retailer facing creative needs.

o Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma) and similar design tools.
o Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, including layout, typography, and color theory.
o An understanding of design for both digital platforms (websites, social media) and print production (brochures, flyers, retail signage).
o Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams across different functions.
o Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
o Strong portfolio showcasing work you personally created
Ability to clearly explain your. Creative process, decision making, and problem solving
o Understanding of print production and working with vendors
Preferred but Not Required

o Designers who are confident but not ego driven
o Creatives with practical problem solving skills and good instincts
o Organized, reliable self starters who take pride in ownership
o Designers excited by variety, responsibility, and growth
o People who care as much about why something works as how it looks
