Responsibilities and Duties
WHO/WHAT: If you're the kind of person who shows up five minutes early, knows where the extra shoes are, and can turn a random Tuesday into a fun-filled day for two kids, keep reading. This dual-physician family is looking for a full-time nanny who can take the wheel during busy weekdays and run things with confidence. Both parents work outside the home in demanding roles, so they're seeking someone who is steady, prepared, and comfortable being the point person while they're at work-truly, someone who is a part of their village. Reliability here isn't a buzzword; it's what allows the whole system to function. This active, outdoor-loving family would especially value a caregiver who feels in sync with their energetic, on-the-go lifestyle.
This family previously worked with an East Wind Nannies-placed caregiver for more than three years, and they're hoping to build that same kind of long-term, trusting partnership again.
Your days will include school drop-offs and pickups as both children are in part-time school (all close by, and your own safe vehicle is a must), planning and heading out on age-appropriate outings, and managing the in-between moments that make up real life with young kids. Think playgrounds, libraries, museums, nature walks, errands, and the occasional “let's grab a snack and regroup” pivot when plans change. Big sister (5) is curious, creative, and full of enthusiasm. She loves pretend play, music, dancing, and expressing her individuality. She attends school three afternoons per week. Little brother (3.5) is energetic, adventurous, and thrives on physical play. He loves construction vehicles and being on the move. He attends school two mornings per week. Their school hours will likely increase in the fall.
At home and especially while the kids are at school, you'll help keep things running at a realistic, lived-in level: children's laundry, vacuuming, sweeping, and loading the dishwasher. An occasional grocery order and pick-up is appreciated as well. Nothing over the top - just the kind of maintenance that keeps weekdays from unraveling. A monthly stipend for activities, supplies for the children, and gas mileage reimbursement is provided, so anything needed for the kids can be purchased by you directly.
Schedules are provided one to two months in advance, weekends are always yours, and you'll never be micromanaged. These parents trust the person they hire and value initiative and good judgment. That said, punctuality, follow-through, and clear communication are non-negotiable in a household with medical schedules and little margin for error. This is a very long-term role (think, full-time hours for the next decade!) for someone who likes being counted on and takes pride in doing things well. Extensive experience, professionalism, and flexibility are items this family is willing to invest in!
The Ideal Nanny IS…SOLID. You show up on time - always. You communicate clearly. You don't disappear, drift, or bring chaos into the room. You understand that reliability isn't flashy, but it's everything. You're nurturing without being too soft, playful without being chaotic, and confident without needing constant direction. You enjoy getting kids out of the house, coming up with ideas on the fly, and keeping days active and engaging. You align with a gentle parenting style and bring patience and steadiness to high-energy days. With parents, you're communicative, dependable, and easy to collaborate with. You appreciate autonomy and take pride in being trusted to run the day well. You're not looking for short-term or stopgap work - you value longevity, partnership, and becoming a meaningful part of a family's village. If that sounds like you, this family would love to meet you, so apply today!

WHO/WHAT: Calling all summer-lovers, pool pros, and activity-planning legends! If your dream workday includes camp pickups, zoo days, science center adventures, park picnics, and long afternoons at the pool - you're in the right place.
This warm, energetic Allison Park family is searching for a highly experienced summer nanny to lead their two delightful boys (ages 5.5 and 3) through a season packed with fun, learning, and memory-making. No two days look the same - and that's exactly the magic.
Big brother is a thoughtful rule-follower who loves calendars, math, Legos, and learning. He'll attend camp for a few weeks this summer, making you the MVP of pickups and after-camp fun. Little brother is pure sunshine in sneakers - athletic, hilarious, and always ready to race monster trucks or flip through gymnastics moves.
Pool days are a BIG deal in this house. The family belongs to a country club, and summer is basically a rotation of swimming, splashing, and cannonballs - so strong swimming skills are a must. Montessori experience is a fun bonus, as the boys attend a Montessori school and thrive with hands-on learning.
Your days will be filled with:
Planning epic outings and neighborhood adventures
Preparing meals and snacks
Resetting the house after big days (vacuuming, kid spaces organized, kitchen tidy)

You're interactive, nurturing, fun, reliable, punctual, and wonderfully organized. You love getting kids outside, keeping screens to a minimum, and creating days filled with movement, learning, and laughter. You're just as happy building Lego cities on the living room floor as you are leading pool races or planning the perfect park picnic.
You're confident behind the wheel and enjoy being out and about. You're a natural planner who keeps track of schedules and camp pickups - but you're also flexible and fun when the day takes an unexpected turn. Montessori experience is a big plus, and teaching backgrounds are very welcome. You understand how to foster independence, curiosity, and confidence in young children. Most importantly, you show up fully - ready to engage, ready to lead, and ready to make this summer unforgettable. If this sounds like you, grab your sunscreen and APPLY RIGHT NOW! ☀️🏊 ♂️🚗✨

Job Summary
Pittsburgh, PA | Treesdale
Start Date: April 20, 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm; potential for earlier end times on Fridays; Guaranteed 36-40 hours/week
Hourly Rate: $27-30
Children: 3-year-old & 8-month-old
Pets: 1 large, friendly dog
Paid Vacation: 1 week paid family's choice & 1 week nanny's choice, 3 sick or personal days, all major holidays plus Black Fri, Christmas Eve & NYE
Responsibilities and Duties
WHO/WHAT: Do you love a home filled with music, laughter, forts made from couch cushions, sidewalk chalk masterpieces, and bike rides on sunny days? Are you the kind of nanny who thrives on routine, but knows how to stay flexible when little ones need a little extra patience, encouragement, or cuddles? This active, kind-hearted family is searching for a professional, long-term nanny to grow with them for years to come. With a three-year-old big sister and a sweet baby, this home is full of curiosity, joy, and energy.
Their days are built around a steady rhythm - morning routines, outdoor play, naps, crafts, and movement. When the weather is nice, you'll find everyone riding bikes, playing on the swing set, and taking neighborhood walks. When it's cold, it's all about fort-building, dance parties, hide-and-seek, and imaginative play. Their oldest attends preschool during the school year and will need daily pick-up and transportation to local activities. In the summer, both children will be home with you full-time. Mom works from home several days per week and Dad is typically home one day a week - but they truly value giving their nanny autonomy and space to run the day with confidence and professionalism. Household responsibilities are child-focused and include children's laundry, washing bottles, light tidying, and basic pet care for their lovable lab (who very much believes he deserves frequent outdoor breaks).
Long-term, this family is hoping to find a nanny who will stay until their youngest heads off to school - ideally a 2-5 year commitment. They are ready to invest in the right professional and are excited to build a respectful, trusting partnership.
The Ideal Nanny IS…Nurturing, active, reliable, and deeply trustworthy. You bring calm confidence into a home and take pride in your work. You understand that being a nanny is a career, not just a job - and you show up with professionalism, punctuality, and initiative every day. You love engaging young children at their developmental level - whether that's helping a determined baby practice crawling or encouraging a preschooler to try something new. You're patient, kind, and steady. You communicate clearly with parents, respect boundaries, and know how to keep a household running smoothly.
You're proactive - folding the kids' laundry without being asked, tidying up after activities, keeping bottles washed, and anticipating what the family might need next. You enjoy being busy, staying active, and creating days that feel both structured and fun. You're comfortable driving children to school and activities and take safety seriously. You understand the importance of routine while also being flexible and responsive to children's needs as they grow. Most of all, you're looking for a long-term home with a family who values professionalism, mutual respect, and teamwork - and who truly appreciates the important role a nanny plays in their children's lives.
