Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor- 1st Shift. This is a full time on-site position supporting our Indianapolis, IN facility. The Manufacturing Supervisor (e-Reman) is responsible for the successful execution of maintaining and supervising the overall electronics/mechatronics remanufacturing department. Duties focus on achieving production builds and key metrics, supervision of hourly employees, monitoring equipment readiness/maintenance, material availability, quality focus, continuous improvement activities, and approval/monitoring of new/current remanufacturing processes being implemented on the floor for the e-Reman products.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year.

What you'll do:
* Daily Remanufacturing management including staffing, daily production metrics and costs
* Employee training on key e-reman processes to ensure compliance
* Hourly employee hiring and development
* Ensure equipment uptime and on-time deployment / launch of e-reman products
* Schedule daily production builds to ensure 95%-line fill rate for AM business
* Development and deployment of continuous improvement activities within the e-reman manufacturing business
* Manage MDS and health and safety requirements
* Maintain OSHA standards and document all issues/corrective actions
* Identify and execute all corrective actions
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
* Minimum Associate's Degree from an accredited institution
* Minimum 3 years experience managing hourly associates in a manufacturing environment
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
* No relocation is available for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of Indianapolis, IN to be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications

Through collaboration with the Market Manager/Branch Manager, Senior Management, and President, the Operations Lead will implement new and updated procedures for their respective branch location.
This position will ensure quality service and effective customer support for all internal and external customers. The Operations Lead will accomplish these results through the effective management of their team of tellers and personal bankers. Utilizing a high degree of independence in solving problems and making decisions where only exceptions requires the concurrence of the Market Manager/Branch Manager. This position is also responsible for the administration and efficient daily operations of the branch location, including operations, product sales, customer service, and security and safety in accordance with the Bank's objectives, either directly or through subordinates.
This position will require an understanding of bank operations, products, systems, and lines of business including Core systems, deposit and loan documents, teller processing, and electronic baking platforms.

* Working from drawings, specifications, bills of material, material specifications, welding instructions and codes, sets up, fits, clamps, bolts and tack welds diversified structural and weldment assemblies in accord with dimensional and alignment requirements. Requires knowledge of welding technology in addition to welding experiences; fulfills ASME section IX Welding Qualifications. Provides leadership and guidance to helpers and others as they may be assigned to assist. .

Level I: Quality - Complete and accurate work performed efficiently
* Production quality and efficiency using appropriate tools and equipment, qualified to perform special processes as needed
* Working from drawings, specifications, manuals, codes, etc., determines the sub-assemblies necessary, the centerlines and quadrant locations for shell openings.
* Directs or personally cuts out these openings.
* Fits up and tack welds nozzles, plates, lift lugs, couplings and reinforcements specified for large units.
* Makes temporary fixtures when standard fixtures are not available.
* Sets up face block, jogs and fixtures in proper locations to minimize the effect of heat, weld distortion and shrinkage during subsequent welding operations.
* Repairs and straightens damaged or bent parts.
* Size of positioning of work may require incumbents of this position to operate a variety of material handling equipment including jibs, overhead cranes, and their accessories.
* May design and make templates.
* Is alert to subsequent machining allowances
* May consult with welder on methods to offset effects of heat on dimension alignment to obtain final dimension and weld appearance.
* May be involved with Supervisor and Drafting/Engineering when corrective action is required because of non-conformities or drawing errors.
* Where products are repetitive, may fabricate and construct fixtures, position riqs and their devices to expedite production.
* Uses an assortment of measuring tools such as straight edge, tape, welding gauges, etc. to ensure proper weld dimensions
* Consistently meets customer's quality requirements and expectations.

Requirements
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, an individual must possess the knowledge, training, experience and abilities required.
Education and Training
* High school Diploma/GED
* BOCES or trade school or its equivalent in on the job training
Experience:
* Knowledge of welding
* Competent in use of material handling equipment
Other:
* Must be willing to work overtime as required.
