Prior to Eccentex, Alex was CEO and co-founder of Datamax Technologies. As one of the early pioneers in business process management (BPM) and document management technologies, Datamax has consistently grown and delivered cutting edge comprehensive BPM solutions to organizations worldwide. Datamax was acquired by Exigen Group in 2000. From 2000 to 2006, Alex held an executive position at Exigen Group, where he oversaw strategy, definition, execution and go-to-market plans of Exigen products to the government sector. Exigen grew to $70M in revenue.

Burr brings more than twenty years of diverse financial experience to Eccentex. As CFO, he has launched or facilitated the growth of multiple technology-driven businesses, leading corporate finance, accounting, tax and legal activities and raising capital to fund operations from both institutional and individual investors. In addition, Burr has more than a dozen years of experience as an investment banker with Lehman Brothers, Barclays Capital and in the middle market advising and raising debt and equity capital for both small, closely-held businesses and large, publicly-traded corporations. Burr is a CPA and began his career as an auditor with Ernst & Young. He holds an MBA from Duke University and an Accounting degree from the University of Southern California. Burr lives in Manhattan Beach, CA and is married with two children.
