In this job, you'll lead a team of Electrical System Inspectors to ensure the safety, reliability, and compliance of overhead utility infrastructure through inspections, patrols, and risk-based projects. You'll manage workload distribution, oversee inspector training and qualifications, and drive safety, quality, and productivity goals across your region. Responsibilities
* Helps division leaders with identifying root causes, trends, process improvements and implementing solutions.
* Manages and maintains project records which include materials notebooks, as-built plans, and pay quantity records, evaluating and monitoring progress schedules as well as preparing work orders.
* Oversees the inspection and installation of conduit, structures, and related components ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and policies, managing crew workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over material, facilities, and products.
* Manages cross functional quality projects including data collection, analysis and implementation of recommendations through completion.
* Creates training materials and programs as required and conducts training sessions to support the quality system, participating in technical and program development training.
* Perform contractor field safety assessments.
* Create and maintain a safety conscious work environment by leading and influencing others to follow Edison safety protocols and safe work practices.
* A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
* Four or more years of experience performing or supervising field inspections.
* Posses a valid Class C Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
* Foundational knowledge of overhead electric infrastructure construction with the ability to learn detailed technical requirements quickly.
* Proven leadership capability to manage a large, geographically dispersed team covering a large territory.
* Strong technical acumen to oversee cutting-edge drone and AI-enabled inspection programs, while ensuring accurate management of large datasets and hundreds of thousands of work orders.
* Certification in FAA Small UAS Rule (Part 107).
Additional Information
* This position's work mode is on-site. The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

The FieldSupervisor will support our EHS initiatives that protect employees, customers, and assets allowing all our team members to return home safely every day. This role is instrumental in achieving success through hard work, integrity, and developing yourself and others.
Support the Area Manager and General Manager in managing your team of protectors.
Collaborate daily with all Area Staff, with a goal of Continuous Improvement in all functional areas of the business
Direct supervision for Field crews
Maintain Field/Office Responsibilities; 80% in Field and 20% in Office
Ensure that safety, quality, training, employee engagement, and retention are a prime focus of the business
Protect the company's employees, customers, and assets against losses, injuries, and accidents through enforcement of safe work practices
Coach, Motivate, Develop your team of protectors
Develop relationships with internal and external customers to achieve goals and new business opportunities
Perform field and vehicle inspections, attend pre-bid meetings, meet with clients and work in the field with the team as needed
Ensure customer service issues are addressed promptly and efficiently while providing the highest level of customer service
Assist in preparing daily schedules
Monitor daily employee issues including payroll, timekeeping, benefits, time off requests, customer issues, and training requirements
Facilitate teambuilding efforts and regular communications with team members
Engage and support the training of new and current employees to reduce turnover, promote efficiency and reduce labor costs
Obtain ATSSA and state-specific certifications
Become a subject matter expert in work zone setup/design and professional flagging

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED completion
4-year degree in a business-related field is a plus but not required
1-2 years of supervisor experience and building teams with 20+ individuals
Must be able to and enjoy connecting with field-level customers and contacts
Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills
Take the initiative to build work relationships with your team
Contributes to the engagement and ongoing development of AWP Safety employees
Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office products and customer relationship management systems
Must adhere to and promote safe workplace practices
Valid Driver's License void of suspension or revocation
Hours of operation may vary based on staffing needs and workload
Typical workweek 40+ hours
Majority of time will be in the field
The position may work in outside conditions that include inclement weather, not limited to heat, cold, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt
Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving vehicles, and occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites
Noise levels in the work environment and job sites can be loud
Position may lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds
If necessary, in the field, stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions; employee lifts pushes, pulls, or carries objects
The pay for this role ranges between: 65k-75k
