About the Role
We are seeking licensed Journeyman and Master Electricians to support our Mission Critical projects in Denver, CO! In this role, you'll apply your trade expertise across installation, layout, troubleshooting, quality inspections, and ongoing construction activities. You will help guide crew productivity, uphold safety standards, and ensure projects remain on schedule in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
We are also seeking 1st - 4th year Apprentices to join our growing team!
Shift: Monday - Friday
Pay:
Apprentice: $18-35/hr (DOE)
Journeyman: $35-41/hr
Master: $45/hr
Responsibilities
Work on large commercial projects (hospitals, universities, hotels, etc.)
Perform electrical tasks on active construction sites
Troubleshoot, service, and repair existing systems
Oversee crew productivity and help maintain workflow efficiency
Ensure project schedules and deadlines are consistently met
Assist with layout activities and basic material takeoffs
Submit trade-related material, tool, and equipment requisitions
Perform planned maintenance and system start-ups with proper documentation
Conduct quality control inspections
Troubleshoot electrical systems and diagnose technical issues
Maintain a clean, organized work area
Follow all company safety standards and policies
Qualifications
1+ year as an Apprentice
Journeyman or Master Electrician License required
Experience working on commercial projects
Experience with ground ups, TIs (tenant renovations), and build outs
Experience with MCC's, PLC's, VFD's preferred
Strong technical problem-solving ability
Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Familiarity with current electrical codes and regulations
Ability to keep tools and work areas clean and orderly
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements
Work indoors and outdoors, including dusty, noisy, or hazardous environments
Work in high places, tight spaces, confined areas, and adverse locations
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Ludvik Electric pays the tuition; the apprentice purchases the necessary books and tools. Payroll deductions for the books/tools purchases can be set up for you, so the cost is split over a couple of paychecks
Role and Responsibilities
Electrical work can be exciting and challenging, but it can also be difficult and dangerous.

Hours are typically 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Electrical work is done in cold, snow, rain, mud, dust, dirt and heat.
Projects can be throughout the Front Range and in the mountains. Even though we try to place you on a project near where you live, you are expected to go where the work is and be able to get there.
The apprentice is expected to complete the Weekly/Monthly Work Report in a thorough, accurate and timely manner.
As a Ludvik Electric employee, you are expected to follow company policies and rules, including safety and productivity requirements.
As a student, you are expected to attend the required number of classes to meet the minimum requirements for each level of apprentice classification.
Qualifications and Education Requirements

Physical Requirements:
A functional physical is required to be completed an passed before work can be performed in all field positions. The physical requirements can often be completed repetitively and for extended periods of time. These requirements include.

Apprentice 3: 2,000-3,000 on-the-job training hours as outlined by apprenticeship program requirements
Apprentice 4: 3,000-4,000 on-the-job training hours as outlined by apprenticeship program requirements
Apprentice 5: 4,000-5,000 on-the-job training hours as outlined by apprenticeship program requirements
Apprentice 6: 5,000-6,000 on-the-job training hours as outlined by apprenticeship program requirements

What You'll Be Doing:
Quickly Respond to Service Calls: Show up on time and ready to tackle any electrical challenge.
Engage with Customers: Listen to repair or installation needs, discuss solutions, and provide accurate cost and time estimates.
Follow Blueprints & Technical Drawings: Bring plans to life by installing systems precisely to spec.

What You Bring to the Team:
Valid Driver's License
3+ Years' Experience: Proven background in Industrial settings like Water/Wastewater and Oil & Gas.
Leadership Skills: Experience leading construction projects is a plus.
Technical Know-How: Confident in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams, and following detailed specifications.
Problem-Solver: Ability to troubleshoot and work independently.
Hands-On Experience: Proficient in bending and installing rigid conduit, motor terminations, and understanding instrumentation devices.
