Essential Duties:

Position Overview: Loenbro is looking for Journeyman Electricians in the Cheyenne, WY area. This is a project position for candidates who have a passion for safety, a initiative-taker, and who have experience in a heavy commercial and industrial environment. The Journeyman Electrician will work independently or as part of a team which will be responsible for the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of industrial equipment and systems.
Job Duties:
* Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
* Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests.
* Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
* Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
* Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
* Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
* Up-dates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
* Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
* The Electrician will follow and perform other instructions and other related duties as set forth by management.
* Capable of reading and understanding overview drawings, one-line drawings, and electrical schematics.
* Ability to layout conduit, cable tray, and overall jobsite installations.
* Work with and train apprentices on the job.
Skills/Qualifications:
* Minimum Journeyman Skill level experience in commercial or industrial electrical system
* Experience in electrical and pneumatic process controls
* Must be dependable, work hard and willing to put in the hours needed.
* Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen.
* Basic computer knowledge required.
* Must be 18 years of age or older.
Potential Hazards:
* Outside most of the time.
* Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures
* Limited working surfaces
* Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors
* Exposure to areas with limited visibility
* Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)
* Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks
* If driving is required, a valid driver's license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
Essential Requirements:
* Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of two miles per day, standing
* Sit, stoop, crawl, and kneel.
* Use of respirator if position requires.
* Driving if required to travel.
