RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists electricians by performing assigned tasks under the direct supervision of an assigned electrician. Must keep all materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly fashion, maintain a clean work area at all times, demonstrate safe work habits and exhibit proper care of all tools and equipment. Experience in commercial, residential, and industrial electricity is preferred. TOOLS REQUIRED: Lineman's pliers with crimper, standard flat head and Phillips screwdrivers, wire strippers, razor knife, side cutters (pliers), hammer, tool pouch, voltage tester, plug tester, and a tape measure. A cordless drill is recommended but not required. WORKING CONDITIONS: May require working in all-weather elements (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.) depending on job location and/or time of year.
