PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for performing engineering and technical tasks, under general supervision, in support of nuclear plant operations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision applying general engineering principles.
Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, engineering specifications and all regulatory requirements.
Participate in the development and implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
Recommend format and methodology improvements to standard processes and procedures.

Position summary:
The Product Development ElectricalEngineer supports various phases of projects ranging from concept generation and initial design all the way through final hardware delivery and volume production. We are seeking an Associate ElectricalEngineer who is responsible for performing general electricalengineering tasks including the design, coordination, and technical support of electrical power distribution, construction, and related systems for commercial, industrial, and government projects.
Key Responsibilities
ElectricalEngineering & Design -
Perform design of electrical power distribution, lighting, and related systems for commercial, industrial, and government projects; develop electricalengineering and design scopes of work; perform electricalengineering calculations and studies; prepare drawings suitable for permit, construction, and competitive bidding; and perform CAD work.
Technical Documentation & Specifications -

Meet with customers to clarify scope of work and consult on technical or constructability issues and professionally represent IB Abel with clients, utilities, and project partners.
Operational Support -
Support Electrical Services Operations as needed to ensure successful project execution and assist with ongoing project documentation, coordination, and compliance requirements.

We are seeking an ElectricalEngineer for our Grinding Delivery team.
The ElectricalEngineer will be part of the Grinding Delivery team within the Minerals BA. This role focuses on electrical design and project documentation for grinding equipment and associated systems. * Prepare project deliverables such as:

Position summary:

REQUIREMENTS:
You have a Bachelor's degree in ElectricalEngineering.
You are a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
You have 15+ years of electricalengineering experience, including experience with electric utilities (investor-owned, public power, and/or cooperatives).
Your expertise includes design, construction, operation, & maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, & devices.
You have thorough knowledge of federal/state/local laws, rules, regs, codes, standards of care, & safety aspects.
Your project management experience is a plus.

You have excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
You are willing to travel about 20% on average.
You have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive.

**Essential Responsibilities / Accountabilities**
+ Design control systems which meet or exceed client specifications while providing maximum value for our portable and fixed install clients.
+ Work with a lead designer to or directly performs engineering analyses of electrical loads, component layout, and functional safety of the control system.
+ Perform optimization and value engineering reviews of both existing and new equipment for improvements in manufacturing cost and efficiency. This includes the research and specification of components from industry manufacturers for electrical designs. This also includes re-use and modification of existing designs.
+ Prepare bills of materials for finished electrical assemblies and assist in the procurement of outside vendor parts and services.
+ Central responsibility in the creation of finished electrical assembly and fabrication drawings, contribution to O&M manuals, and final client submittal packages.
+ Continue to expand our application of emerging technologies for the purpose of designing and producing leading edge controls technology.
