Job Description Coho Technology Solutions is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious High Voltage Electrician to support electrical infrastructure projects and operations for U.S. Navy installations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of medium to high voltage electrical distribution systems and related equipment. This role includes working with cathodic protection systems, power generators (gas and diesel), transformers, and airfield lighting systems. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain medium voltage (1kV-35kV) systems and, where applicable, 69kV Navy systems. Inspect, repair, and test a wide range of electrical components including underground cable systems, switches (oil, SF6, air), transformers, ground grid systems, and fuses. Troubleshoot electrical issues using specialized tools: multimeters, meggers, ammeters, cable locators, fault finders, high-potential test equipment, etc. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical manuals. Follow all safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), NFPA 70E standards, and PPE requirements. No live (hot) work is permitted without prior written authorization. Job Description Gramophone's Design & Build Electrical team is GROWING and looking for a career-oriented individual with residential electrical experience. We are currently looking for an electrician experienced working on small- and large-scale home projects from home theaters, to audio rooms, to multipurpose spaces. The electrician performs installation of electrical and systems construction elements of C3M projects. This role is primarily a Washington DC position, however traveling and interacting with multiple project teams across various locations throughout the U.S. is also available. **Responsibilities** + Perform electrical installations on Transportation and/or Industrial Construction projects + Provide input and coordinate with other trades on each project + Maintain safety and quality standards on all installations and tasks + Ensure code compliance by inspecting and testing electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards or needed repairs + Maintain positive personal contact and relationships with management, staff, craft and the local unions + Ensures that all activities are consistent with project plans, policies and procedures + Responsible for assembly, installation, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems. + Prepares work area for installation of equipment. + Installs electrical components. + Connects wiring and equipment as per code and job specification. + Operates equipment only if trained and certified to operate. (Note: Powder activated tools, and JLG lifts and other operations that may require certification and training before operating). + Sets up and operates tools such as hydraulic benders, power threaders, power pullers and cable vacuum systems. + Be able to read blueprints and electrical drawings and install as specified. + Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances per drawings or plans. + Secure and lock up equipment after use. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. **Basic Qualifications** + Minimum of 5 years' experience working as electrician for transportation and/or industrial electrical and systems projects + Journeymen's Electrical License or equivalent (Preferred) + An innovator, always in pursuit of the next best way + Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and construction safety requirements + Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills. + Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment to help grow the organization. + Ability to promote teamwork and open communication on the project site. + Highly motivated with strong skills in time management and prioritization. + Creative and results-oriented with a sense of urgency. + Alignment to C3M's Standards of Excellence: Self-Motivated, Results Oriented, Adaptable, Team Player, Accountable, Ethical, Innovative, Resilient, Builds Relationships + Current IBEW Member in Good Standing or ability to join the IBEW + Experience in one or more of the following Preferred: + Overhead Catenary System Installation + Automatic Train Control System Installation + Rail Communications Systems Installation + Rail System Station and Facilities Electrical and Systems Installation + Water/Wastewater Facilities Electrical and Systems Installation + Industrial and/or Complex Facilities Electrical and Systems Installation The work environment and requirements described below are representative of those necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. **The Physical Side of the Role:** This is an active, hands-on role.
