SUMMARY Administers basic life support treatment to, and transports, sick or injured persons in the pre-hospital and interfacility setting, as authorized by the State of California, Local EMS Agency Medical Director and Company Medical Director, by performing the following duties, within the prescribed scope of practice and all applicable regulatory guidelines for Prehospital care. Takes and records patient's vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse and respiratory rate.
