Opportunity: RN - ED Job Details: • Provide nursing care in a 22-bed Emergency Department with 4:1 patient ratios • Work with day shift team: Charge nurse + 5 RNs + ER techs and various shift patterns (12-12, 10-10, 3-3) • Work with night shift team: Charge nurse + 6 RNs + ER techs and various shift patterns • Required to work 2 weekends per schedule with no on-call requirements • Minimum 5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in high-acuity setting required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, CPI • Must have strong triage and critical thinking skills • Experience with trauma and cardiac alerts, including STEMI, stroke, and sepsis patient care required • Perform procedures including IV insertion, medication administration, EKGs, splinting, wound care • Assist with moderate sedation, intubation, CPR, rapid sequence intubation, and code response • Provide care for stroke, STEMI, sepsis, trauma, and behavioral health patients • Handle transport preparation and coordination for higher levels of care • Conduct triage assessment and prioritization based on ESI guidelines • Follow isolation and infection control protocols • Use Meditech EMR system for documentation in fast-paced environment • Dress code requires royal blue scrubs • Must be team-oriented, punctual, reliable, and compassionate with excellent patient-centered care • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required Facility: This regional medical center operates a comprehensive emergency department providing high-acuity emergency care services to the community.
