Under the supervision of the Medic One Ambulance Leadership team the EMT is an integral part of the EMS team, providing support to the their partner and a superior transport experience to the communities we serve. The EMT will respond to emergent and nonemergent medical transports and are responsible for assessing patients' conditions, administering basic life support, and transporting patients to medical facilities for further treatment. EMTs are an integral part of the healthcare system, provide critical care during emergencies and making a significant impact on patient‘s lives. The role of the EMT demands quick thinking, compassion, and the ability to work as part of a team to deliver timely and effective pre-hospital care.
The Role and Responsibilities of the EMT include:
Provide excellent patient care within the scope of practice of an EMT
Provide safe transport of the patient and crew
Respond to emergent and non-emergent transports
Provides effective communication with patients, dispatch, crews, family members, and facility staff
Ability operation communication devices; portable radio, cell phone, computer tablet
Completion of patient contact reports prior to shift completion
Ensure maintenance of vehicles and equipment for transport readiness

Maintain certifications with timely completion of refresher courses and CMEs
Remain current on all state protocols, policies, and/or procedures

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Graduation From High School or equivalent
Must be at least 19 years old at time of hire for insurance purposes.
Current NREMT and State EMT (or ability to obtain with in 10 days of hire)
Valid driver's license
Ability to drive company vehicles with a clean driving record
Successful completion of a state sponsored EVOC course or ability to obtain in 90 days
Current AHA BLS CPR or ability to obtain within 10 days of hire
Ability to provide quality patient care within scope of practice
Knowledge of all state protocols for an EMT
Ability to lift 150 - 200 pounds
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test

GENERAL INFORMATION:
The supervisor makes assignments in terms of shifts to be worked and the general scope of the work assignment. OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
The work requires the incumbent to operate emergencymedical vehicles, move medical equipment and extract injured persons from a wide variety of situations. Situation can involve vehicular, industrial and residential accidents, injuries or illness and occur anywhere in our coverage area. At times the work requires movement over various types of terrain, (hilly, steep, rocky, rough, and/or wet/slippery surfaces). The incumbent at all times must be able to carry or help carry someone from the site of the injury to the mode of transportation (vehicle/helicopter) and attend the injured party to the hospital. In order to perform a physical assessment of the injured party, the incumbent must see, hear, and communicate with the injured party.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The purpose of this safety sensitive (SS) position is to perform repairs and preventative maintenance duties on a wide variety of fire apparatus, vehicles, and equipment.
This position is responsible for inspecting fire apparatus, vehicles, and equipment, diagnosing mechanical problems and making necessary repairs, performing preventative maintenance and repair work, maintaining parts inventory, maintain maintenance records, and performs related work as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRepairs and performs routine and preventative maintenance on fire apparatus, vehicles, and equipment, both in shop and on-site: coordinates repair/service activities with appropriate Fire department personnel, Fleet Services personnel, and/or outside service providers; identifies maintenance/repair priorities, taking into consideration factors such as safety and equipment downtime; works to minimize repair and maintenance costs and length of down time; plans and schedules work to ensure equipment is ready for service.

As a SONIC Carhop, you are part of an elite group, filling a role offered by no other company. As a carhop, you're responsible for serving and delivering that food safely and efficiently, ensuring our guests have a super experience at SONIC Drive-In restaurants.
SONIC Carhop/Skating Carhop server duties may include:
• Ensuring that all restaurant menu items meet operational standards
• Greeting all guests in a polite and friendly manner with a smile
• Making accurate change quickly and efficiently for restaurant guests
• Carrying and balancing a tray weighing up to 25 pounds
• Serving our guests in a timely manner
• Clearing trays from our guests' cars
Depending upon the employment practices of the individual SONIC Drive-In restaurant owner, some SONIC Drive-Ins employ Skating Carhop servers:
• Skating Carhop servers are unique to the SONIC Drive-In restaurant brand and bring a special “surprise and delight” element to the guest experience.
• Skating Carhop servers must complete the SONIC Skating Training Program.
• Upon successful completion of this program, Skating Carhops perform the above duties while roller skating.

Carhop/Skating Carhop server requirements:
●Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays
●Ability to be flexible in all situations based on business need
●Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills
●Willingness to abide by the appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at SONIC
Skating Carhop server requirements:
●Successfully completed assigned SONIC Skating Training Program
●Roller skate proficiently and frequently on various surfaces when delivering food
●Ability to continuously stand, balance and carry a tray, and sweep while roller skating
●General knowledge and understanding of the restaurant industry or retail operations preferred, but not required

Under the supervision of the Medic One Ambulance Leadership team the EMT is an integral part of the EMS team, providing support to the their partner and a superior transport experience to the communities we serve. The EMT will respond to emergent and nonemergent medical transports and are responsible for assessing patients' conditions, administering basic life support, and transporting patients to medical facilities for further treatment. EMTs are an integral part of the healthcare system, provide critical care during emergencies and making a significant impact on patient‘s lives. The role of the EMT demands quick thinking, compassion, and the ability to work as part of a team to deliver timely and effective pre-hospital care.
The Role and Responsibilities of the EMT include:
Provide excellent patient care within the scope of practice of an EMT
Provide safe transport of the patient and crew
Respond to emergent and non-emergent transports
Provides effective communication with patients, dispatch, crews, family members, and facility staff
Ability operation communication devices; portable radio, cell phone, computer tablet
Completion of patient contact reports prior to shift completion
Ensure maintenance of vehicles and equipment for transport readiness
Maintain cleanliness of ambulance
Maintain certifications with timely completion of refresher courses and CMEs
Remain current on all state protocols, policies, and/or procedures
Represent Medic One Ambulance at community events as assigned
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Graduation From High School or equivalent
Must be at least 19 years old at time of hire for insurance purposes.
Current NREMT and State EMT (or ability to obtain with in 10 days of hire)
Valid driver's license
Ability to drive company vehicles with a clean driving record
Successful completion of a state sponsored EVOC course or ability to obtain in 90 days
Current AHA BLS CPR or ability to obtain within 10 days of hire
Ability to provide quality patient care within scope of practice
Knowledge of all state protocols for an EMT
Ability to lift 150 - 200 pounds
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
Ability to speak and write English
