This role involves improving production efficiency, quality, and safety by collaboration with production teams, quality assurance and R&D to ensure that manufacturing processes meet industry standards and customer specifications. The Engineer will be part of the site's Process Safety Management (PSM) team, contributing to site initiatives, supporting capital projects, and collaborating on continuous improvement efforts alongside the EHS, Engineering, and Technology teams. Develop, maintain, and improve operating procedures Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree will receive the highest consideration. Five years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role or related industry preferred. Experience in compression molding, specifically with polyimide thermoset materials preferred Deep understanding of thermoset polymers, their chemical properties, and process characteristics. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality assurance methodologies. Proficient in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment. Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex process and production issues using multiple disciplined teams and data driven analysis. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects/tasks, adapt to changing conditions and balance a “big picture” focus with detailed execution.
