Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Program Manager of Operations and Supply Chain initiatives with a focus on resolving complex cross-functional challenges. This role will be instrumental in driving past due backlog recovery, developing sustained recovery plans, supporting line of balance analysis, managing production ramp-ups, supporting alternative sourcing, and addressing obsolescence issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong bias for action, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders including customers, operations, supply chain, quality, and engineering. Regular travel within the U.S. to customer sites, supplier locations, and production facilities will be required. This role will report to the Aerospace and Defense Business Unit Manager.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Key Projects you will lead as needed:
* Backlog Recovery: Lead efforts to identify, analyze, and recover past due backlogs. Develop and execute recovery plans to meet customer delivery commitments.
* Obsolescence Management: Manage obsolescence risk projects, working with cross-functional teams to develop mitigation and replacement strategies.
* Production Ramp-Up: Manage and coordinate various production ramp-up activities to meet increasing demand while maintaining quality and schedule. Support plant capital projects activities.
Functions you support as needed - may turn into cross functional projects you may lead:
* Line of Balance Analysis: Support line of balance and capacity analysis completed by the Demand Planning team to optimize production flow and identify bottlenecks.
* Alternative Sourcing: Collaborate with supply chain and engineering teams to identify and qualify alternative suppliers and materials to mitigate risks related to supply disruptions and obsolescence.
* Continuous Improvement: Support opportunities for process improvements across the product lifecycle to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
Expectations for the role:
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between customers, operations, supply chain, quality, and engineering to ensure alignment and timely resolution of production and delivery issues.
* Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally to visit customers, suppliers, and manufacturing sites as needed to support program objectives.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
* 5+ years of combined experience in program management, preferably in managing initiatives within the serial production environment.
* Proven ability to manage complex programs with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficient in projectmanagement tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet)
* Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) principles and best practices.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
* MBA or advanced degree preferred.

**Supply Chain Operations Internship:** In this role you will be responsible for key elements involved in supply chain related daily operations. This may include materials management (forecasting, planning, fulfillment, logistics, and distribution) and sourcing (strategic commodity management, contract structuring, negotiation, suppliermanagement) within your assigned site. This internship is a great first step for those interested in our OMLP program after graduation.

In either internship experience, you'll be expected to:
+ Learn and understand state-of-the-art methods of manufacturing,
+ Support manufacturing and repair processes for component hardware and/or overall engine assembly,
+ Maintain high-quality standards via risk assessment, root cause analysis, corrective action, and the application of statistical controls
+ Ensure safe work conditions via Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives
+ Learn and apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to drive productivity, on-time delivery, process capability, and stable operations in our increasingly complex and demanding environment
+ Supporting delivery efforts for sourced components by working with our shops and suppliers while building projectmanagement skills, negotiation skills, and business acumen
Qualifications/Requirements:
+ Minimum 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale without rounding
+ Attending a full-time registered and nationally accredited bachelor or graduate program (accepted majors are listed below)
+ Willingness and ability to work in any of the 35+ GE Aerospace U.S. locations
+ Reliable transportation, as many of our sites do not have public transportation available

The ProjectManager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering end-to-end implementation of a distribution network across designated regions. This role leads cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, Finance, Quality, EHS, and Commercial) to design network topology, onboard/stand up 3PLs/DCs, integrate systems (WMS/TMS/ERP), and achieve target service levels, cost, and reliability. Success is measured by Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost outcomes, including on-time go-lives, inventory accuracy, OTIF performance, and budget adherence.
There are two positions which are both open to remote consideration. One of the positions will require up to 25-30% domestic travel. The second position will require up to 75% international travel for the first 3-6 months.
**Job Description**
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead full lifecycle projects to stand up or reconfigure distribution centers (DCs), forward stocking locations (FSLs), and 3PL operations
+ Drive development of network design, capacity, and location strategy in partnership with Supply Chain and Logistics Engineering
+ Establish and manage integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and change control
+ Oversee facility readiness: layout, racking, material flow, EHS compliance, security, and regulatory requirements
+ Manage system integrations and cutovers: WMS/TMS/ERP, EDI, labeling/compliance, and master data readiness
+ Define and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), SLAs, and KPIs; ensure training and work instructions are in place
+ Coordinate 3PL selection and start-up: RFPs, contracts/SOWs, implementation, performance governance
+ Execute inventory migration, slotting, and ramp plans; validate cycle counts and inventory accuracy
+ Lead hypercare and stabilization; implement root cause actions to reach steady-state performance
+ Report progress, risks, and mitigations to stakeholders and leadership; ensure alignment to business case
+ Champion continuous improvement and lean practices to optimize throughput, cost, and service
+ Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, trade, and cybersecurity requirements
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years project/program management, logistics, distribution or manufacturing experience) + minimum of 3 years project/program management, logistics, distribution or manufacturing experience
**Desired Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field; advanced degree or PMP/Prince2 a plus
+ Proven experience launching DCs/FSLs or onboarding 3PLs and executing WMS/TMS implementations and cutovers
+ Strong understanding of network design, inventory management, transportation, and warehouse operations
+ Demonstrated ability to manage large cross-functional teams and external partners

**Travel**

The salary range for this position is $94,000 - $145,000 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan.
