**Description**
We are seeking a RegisteredNurse with experience in **cardiac nursing** to join our dynamic 23-bed unit, specializing in the care of patients with complex medical and cardiac conditions. This includes advanced heart failure, pre and post interventional cardiology, managing vasoactive drips, left ventricular assist devices, and pacemaker placements. Additionally, the nurse will manage conditions such as COPD, GI bleeding, pneumonia, chest tubes, urinary tract infections, electrolyte imbalances, and liver/kidney disease. Furthermore, the nurse will be responsible for managing a wide range of therapies, including chest tubes, tracheostomies, pain and diabetic management, insulin drips, peritoneal dialysis, and IV antibiotics. We maintain a targeted nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care.

RN Clinician Charge Plans, coordinates and directs the daily operations of a specific shift on a clinical unit.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
Education/ Experience
+ Graduate of an accredited prelicensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
+ 2 years of recent nursing experience AND a minimum of 2 years of experience in the area of concentration.
Licensure
+ A valid, unencumbered RegisteredNursing License approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
Certification
+ BLS certification
+ ACLS may be required for certain departments, post hire
+ Additional certifications may be required based on department and specialty PL N:
+ Must meet all Clinical Nurse Employee Commitments.
+ Achieves electives/points and contact hours as defined in the PLAN (clinical lattice) point system to maintain position.

Job Description
This internship offers a dynamic opportunity to collaborate with nursing leaders on the Magnet team, focusing primarily on developing social media content aimed at boosting engagement and influencing the organizational culture. The intern will participate in team meetings and interact with nurses across the healthcare system to gain firsthand insights into nursing practices and leadership. Ideal for those interested in nursing, healthcare administration, or public health, this role will provide an immersive experience of healthcare communication and leadership dynamics. They will create content for social media to enhance engagement and visibility of the nursingdepartment's initiatives while highlighting nursing operations. Additionally, the intern will read and edit Magnet stories to highlight the innovative and impactful work being done by nursing teams within the hospital.
Meetings Intern will attend:
* Magnet team meetings (cadence: weekly) to learn processes and support team
* Shared Leadership meetings (cadence: every 6 weeks) to identify topics to share on social media/Engage and take pictures for photo repository and social media posts
Magnet Support:
* Magnet Document: Proofread stories and edit to remove any patient identifiers/information
* Uploading & cataloging photos from shared album to OneDrive for easy access for Magnet team

* Create content for Viva Engage, Instagram, and Facebook to increase engagement with staff and increase awareness for the work of Shared Leadership

The Children's Summer Intern program allows interns the opportunity to gain hands-on experience related to their field of study by working on meaningful projects alongside Children's professionals. Intern responsibilities may include project management, event planning and support, logistics, data base management, research, and analysis. Interns may explore career paths and apply for full-time positions upon successful completion of the program.

Description
We are seeking a RegisteredNurse with experience in cardiac nursing to join our dynamic 23-bed unit, specializing in the care of patients with complex medical and cardiac conditions. This includes advanced heart failure, pre and post interventional cardiology, managing vasoactive drips, left ventricular assist devices, and pacemaker placements. Additionally, the nurse will manage conditions such as COPD, GI bleeding, pneumonia, chest tubes, urinary tract infections, electrolyte imbalances, and liver/kidney disease. Furthermore, the nurse will be responsible for managing a wide range of therapies, including chest tubes, tracheostomies, pain and diabetic management, insulin drips, peritoneal dialysis, and IV antibiotics. We maintain a targeted nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care.
