The main focus of this role will be tied to Population Health Informatics, but will also play a role on some Public Health initiatives. This role will involve supporting the development, implementation and evaluation of public health and population health informatics initiatives. This position bridges the gap between research teams, IT services, and institutional leadership, ensuring that complex datasets and research outputs are transformed into actionable insights that advance scholarly work and strategic decision-making. This candidate will be aligned to our research administration applications that streamline the complex lifecycle of academic research, from compliance to funding. These applications help universities and research institutions manage grants, ethics approvals, reporting, and collaboration more efficiently. You will provide product applications implementation and support for our research administration applications that provide its users features such as grants management, compliance oversight, workflow automation, scalability, data integrity, and collaboration tools. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Provides hand off support between the business and technical resources in application installation and maintenance. + Ensures appropriate integration across an application suite. + Ensures appropriate change management procedures are followed by all application teams. + Works closely with application technical support to ensure appropriate tools are developed and technical issues are resolved. + Uses established fact-finding procedures, knowledge of pertinent processes and procedures and in depth understanding of programming practices and software to provide required technical analysis of user problems. + Identifies, isolates, and solves complex application programming and technical problems within production clinical and business systems. + Provides production support in a 7 X 24 Tier 1 environment. + Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring financial and contractual integrity. This position oversees the planning, tracking, and management of IT budgets, analyzes spending trends, and provides strategic insights to support cost‑effective decision‑making. The analyst manages the full lifecycle of IT contracts-including procurement, renewals, compliance monitoring, and vendor coordination-to ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. VENDOR MANAGEMENT: * Serves as Liaison to Procurement & Digital teams for facilitating execution of new contracts. * Understands technical terms, service level agreements, deliverables of agreement, and performance of the agreements and reports observed variances. * Organizes and prepares comprehensive analysis and associated materials for presentations and vendor strategy sessions. * Maintains Vendor/Contracts & Business Tracking databases on behalf of Financial Informatics. * Proactively gathers and audits executed contracts, invoices, and maintenance renewals for accuracy and to queue agreements requiring attention due to approaching terminations &/or renewal milestones. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT & STAFF RESOURCE: * Proactively identifies & develops opportunities for automation for core Financial Informatics functions.
