Responsibilities
ECS is offering an exciting opportunity for a Building Enclosure Associate I to join our Midwest Facilities team in Cleveland, OH. In this role, you'll work on projects involving inspections, testing, assessments, and commissioning of building enclosures for existing structures. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality consulting solutions to a diverse range of facilities and clients.
* Testing and consulting services for the built environment, property condition assessments, specialized testing, building enclosure consulting, forensic investigation analysis, and design of repairs to existing structures, among other facilities-related services
* Exhibiting responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self-motivation
* Performing field and laboratory testing
* Assisting with preparation of reports, proposals, and projects
* Assisting with projects as needed
* Interacting with senior staff members on a variety of projects
* Scheduling and oversight of facilities technicians
* Promoting a safe workplace and proper use of PPE
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED required; B.Arch or M.Arch (NCARB) accredited by National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) or BS in Engineering, Building Science, or related degree from an ABET accredited college/university preferred
* 0-2 years of relevant building facilities consulting experience required
* In lieu of education, 4 years as ECS Facilities Staff Associate or equivalent combination of experience, certification, and education required. Experience with non-destructive testing preferred. Professional certifications (such as NRCA/IIBEC, AWCI Certified EIFS Inspector) preferred

Training Development and Delivery:

Process Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure that employees consistently follow WIs and process flows for testing
Conduct periodic skills assessments to validate training effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
Ensure adherence to calibration and maintenance schedules for testing equipment.
Perform audits and monitor compliance, providing real-time feedback to technicians, leads and supervisor.
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Quality Teams to ensure training aligns with current process updates.
Identify training gaps based on reported quality issues and technician errors, adjusting training materials accordingly.
Assist in revising WIs and process documentation based on feedback from employees and engineering teams.
Work with engineering and production leads to ensure new or updated check in/out instructions are integrated into training programs.
Training Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of training completion, assessments, and employee progress.
Document and communicate training-related issues or skill gaps to Learning and Development Manager, supervisors and quality teams.
Ensure that training records are tracked in the LMS, and comply with QMS and organizational training requirements.
Other Duties:
Support process improvements by gathering feedback from employees and recommending enhancements.
Provide on-the-job coaching and mentorship for new hires and employees needing refresher training.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Associate's Degree in relevant field or High School Diploma with relevant experience required.
Experience:
At least one year of experience in a technical, manufacturing, or production environment.
Previous experience in training or mentoring roles highly desired.
Hands-on experience with electronics repair, diagnostics, and testing is a plus.
Bilingual proficiency is strongly preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of basic testing principles.
Ability to interpret WIs related to area of focus.
Proficiency in Windows-based applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Your Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Check amenity access cards for validity at Association Amenities with a focus on the Main Pavilion Beach area.

* Perform regular trash monitoring in the Pavilion Office and Townhouse Subdivision parking lots, including cleaning up leftover messes and securing dumpsters
* Monitors recreational facilities on a regular basis throughout the day, stopping and checking for valid passes. Take proper eviction action if invalid passes are being used or if guests are becoming a nuisance.
* Assist Pool Attendant with Indoor and/or Outdoor Pool closing duties
* Assure the tranquility of the neighbors by enforcing TKPOA's CC&Rs and Operating Rules.
* Monitor boat docks to assure that all boats have current stickers. Ticket or issue violation notices to offenders. Follow up to assure that proper action has been taken by offender. Use eviction measures as required by the CC&Rs.
* Monitor Association and Townhouse parking lots to assure that all vehicles are in compliance with Townhouse rules. Ticket or issue violation notices to offender. Follow up to assure that proper action has been taken by offender.
* Monitors Association properties to assure there is no violation of any CC&Rs codes.
* Crosstrain at the Front Desk on essential functions such as creating Member ID Cards and day use passes, issuing parking hangtags, stickers, and annual boat stickers, and answering general questions.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Monitors and inspect Water Company and Water Quality facilities.
* Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Knowledge of public relation principles.
* Ability to calmly and tactfully explain rules and ordinances to obtain compliance.
* Must have strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and other Association management and Staff, homeowners, renters, guests and the general public.
* Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
* Prior Security and/or patrol experience a plus.
