POSITION SUMMARY

As a Field Measurement Technician, you will play an essential role within our Measurement department, reporting to the Measurement Supervisor. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Install, test, calibrate, program, and maintain electronic gas meter measurement and control devices to ensure gas flow meters are working properly.
Recondition gas meters as necessary.
Install electrical wiring to generate relays, modems, make controls and gas-pressure telemetry equipment.
Fabricate and install MSAs.
Inspect, maintain, repair, adjust, and calibrate measurement and regulation equipment both in the field and in the shop.
Prove, repair and rebuild natural gas meters in accordance with AGA and company standards
Maintain accurate records of meter shop activities
Provide and Maintain required records and part stock
Document and maintain meter tests and removal tags
Maintain an accurate inventory of meters
Document and maintain field records/applicable paperwork.
Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Support field maintenance activities and construction projects.
Other duties include: parts ordering, sandblasting, cleaning, painting, weed cutting, and snow removal.
What You Will Bring:
High School Diploma or GED.
Two year degree in electronic instrumentation or equivalent degree and/or experience.
Must be able to perform assigned tasks unsupervised and make appropriate decisions.
Familiarity with the geographical layout of Anchorage.
Must possess current Alaska Driver's License and be qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the ENSTAR's Driving Policy.

The ideal candidate will support the daily operations of the FAA's Legacy Infrastructure to Future Technologies (LIFT) Portfolio and the goal of converting National Airspace Connectivity from TDM to IP. Telecommunications Engineering Technician Job Duties Include:

General Summary
This position is responsible for providing plant oversight for cost and engineering activities that facilitates the efficient progress of plant operations and ensures compliance with regulatory agencies.
Essential Job Accountabilities
Determine and calculate production quantities and communicate to management to ensure their understanding of our cost to produce.
Prepare, implement and test SWPPP's, hazardous materials plans, in conjunction with the Environmental Department to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Perform operational improvement studies and recommend improvement or process modifications to ensure the most efficient operations are implemented.
Conduct and/or participate in safety audits and meetings to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Prepare and prioritize maintenance and repairs of material processing equipment to ensure cost efficient maintenance schedules. Manage spare parts inventories so crews can make efficient repairs.
Perform semi-annual inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Support plant manager, foreman and superintendents as needed to ensure the success of the operation.

Crown is hiring Full-Time Electronics Technician in Anchorage, Alaska to join our team of floating electronics installers. This position is 25% travel throughout the state of Alaska and with a workspace out of Anchorage. Monday - Thursday 6 am-4:30pm.This position requires a level of confidence to work in geographic isolation, so the candidate must have the technical knowledge and aptitude to create solutions in unique situations. The Electronics Technician will receive technical advice from a Technical Manager and/or Engineer, however will still be expected to work largely in a stand-alone capacity due to the nature of the work, and will need to be a de-facto on-site Electronic/Communications Subject matter Expert (SME).
Although each installation is unique, typical duties include:
Conduct pre-installation meetings.
Coordinate frequency outages with relevant stakeholders.
Remove and dispose of existing communications equipment.
Install new radio racks, radios, and other government-furnished equipment (GFE).
Install new or upgraded conduit and cable trays.
Remove and replace antennas as required.
