This position is responsible for a developed ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical systems in all areas of the brewery.
This role is for 1st shift weekends Saturday - Sunday 7:00AM - 7:00PM and Monday - Tuesday 7:00AM - 3:00PM.
Essential Duties:
• Performing the required maintenance on specific pieces of equipment
• Lead efforts to maintain specific pieces of equipment and identify critical spare parts
• Safely lock out all brewery equipment as required
• Communicate and acquire downtime for maintenance
• Assists with making annual maintenance budgets for specific areas
• Develops maintenance requirements and training checklists
• Other Duties as assigned
Education/ Experience/Skills:
• High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of related experience or equivalent training and experience.
• Ability to train and mentor less experienced technicians
• Ability to be part of on-call mechanical program
• Developed mechanical working knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Developed knowledge of brewing, production process
• Developed knowledge of chemical handling and abilities

Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of employment.
Knowledge of construction and maintenance contract policies and procedures.
Ability to pass the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (F.E.) and obtain the Engineering in Training (EIT) designation within 12 months of employment.
