This job primarily performs non-destructive testing (NDT) radiographic inspections (RT) on composite rocket motors. Inspects composite materials, parts and assemblies for defects using automated and manual methods with radiographic techniques. Requires certifications in RT Non-Destructive testing in accordance with regulations.
In house part and material inspections are periodically performed using, ultrasonic (UT), liquid penetrant (PT), magnetic particle (MT), and eddy current (ET) inspection methods. These inspections can be in different locations including confined space locations.
Basic Qualifications:
NDT Tech 3
4-6 years of total experience in NDT.
1+ years of documented hours as an NDT Level 2 inspector in at least two NDT methods; in order of preference: Radiography (RT), Ultrasound (UT), Eddy Current (ET), Dye Penetrant (PT), Magnetic Particle (MT). RECORDS REQUIRED
NDT Tech 4
6-10 years of total experience in NDT.
3+ years of documented hours as an NDT Level 2 inspector in at least two NDT methods; in order of preference: Radiography (RT), Ultrasound (UT), Eddy Current (ET), Dye Penetrant (PT), Magnetic Particle (MT). RECORDS REQUIRED
Additional Basic Qualifications for both level 3 and level 4:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED (education will be verified).
NAS410 qualified Level 2 classroom training/experience, or equivalent, in radiographic methodology, either in progress or completed.
Must be willing to work a rotating schedule between day and night shift.
Willing to occasionally work overtime and flexible/changing schedules including weekends as required to meet schedule demands.
Willing to work with high energy x-ray machines (15MeV) and radiation environments.
Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitive work to include bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, and lifting up to 50lbs.
Able to be subject to areas which could cause various phobias due to height or confined spaces.
Able to understand and strictly follow procedures, planning, and policies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and technical report writing.
Must be capable of conducting NDT for the acceptance of parts with clear and concise documentation of the results.
Possess the ability to work in a team environment under the guidance of mentor/mentors to learn the necessary techniques and processes for achieving high quality NDT inspection results.
Ability to interpret rulers, digital gauges and calipers.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment as part of a multi-disciplined team.
Successfully pass a near vision eye examination, including a color vision test.

**Meet the Team**
Join the core Hypershield Data Plane team within Cisco's Security Business Group-an industry-first effort redefining how modern distributed security is built. We are engineering the data path for a highly available, AI-designed security fabric that protects applications across public clouds, private data centers, and physical environments.
This team is building segmented firewalling directly in the data plane-a first-of-its-kind innovation not available elsewhere in the industry. Engineers on this team get end-to-end ownership of packet processing systems, deep exposure to DPUs (AMD), NPUs, and P4, and the opportunity to shape foundational architecture in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

**Your Impact**
In this role, you will design, build, and optimize the data plane for Cisco Hypershield using C++, P4, and hardware offload technologies such as DPUs and NPUs. You'll work hands-on with AMD DPU specifications, packet processing pipelines, and performance-critical components from day one.
Success in this role means operating in a fast-paced model-quickly absorbing the architecture, contributing to data-plane development immediately, and delivering reliable, high-performance code with minimal hand-holding.
You will:
+ Design and implement data-plane features using P4, microcode, and C++ across DPU/NPU architectures.
+ Bring up hardware platforms, integrate SDKs, and debug low-level packet-processing behavior.
+ Work from AMD technical specifications to define and build performant pipelines.
+ Collaborate closely with internal teams (control plane, management plane, platform) to deliver end-to-end datapath functionality.
+ Drive system-level architecture discussions and influence design choices for high-throughput and low-latency packet processing.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
+ 7+ years of experience in packet processing (e.g., DPDK, TCP reassembly, high-throughput pipelines).
+ Programming experience in C/C++ and experience with P4 or microcode/U-code development.
+ Experience bringing up platforms or ASICs in Linux-based environments.
+ Hands-on experience building or leveraging hardware acceleration with DPUs or NPUs.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience working with AMD DPUs, Broadcom, Marvell, or Intel data-path hardware.
+ Deep understanding of P4 compiler behavior, pipeline stages, and programmable switch architecture.

+ .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
+ 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

+ Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

This position will directly support Hill Air Force Base (HAFB) Little Mountain Test Facility (LMTF) Shock & Vibration Labs for testing, operating and maintaining test stand and support equipment, design test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements, and upgrades of a variety of test stands and methods including hardness status, projection, data acquisition, analysis, and performance of hardened components. Identify solutions to basic problems and support the development of processes, methods, and tools. Supports development of test debrief material. Works under general supervision. The candidates will also support the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and configuration of support documentation of test stands, equipment, and interfaces.
Responsibilities:
General ability to lead a team to conduct a test, compilation of test sequence, monitor progress of the test, and record test activities while being able to accommodate / troubleshoot / maintain any unforeseen events that occur during the test.
General knowledge and is proficient in the operation, integration, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automatic test equipment.
General knowledge across a wide range of mechanical and electrical, disciplines.

Designs component and sub-assembly level hardware as specified by the Statement of Work. Uses analytical tools to verify the design. Assists in coordinating the manufacture and assembly of test hardware.
Participates in test readiness reviews, safety reviews and data/control systems checkout to minimize risk. Performs calibrations and system check-out/validation to satisfy test requirements. Configures software for data acquisition and analysis. Prepares daily execution plans for effective use of all test resources.
General knowledge of test article/vehicle configuration control procedure required to prepare for a given test. This requires the use of configuration control management process to track and maintain article/vehicle configuration. General ability to configure the test article using test requirements gathered from test plans, government regulations, and safety rules.
General knowledge of design of experimental models, mechanisms, prototypes, test rigs and fixtures, test equipment, and load measurement devices. Includes mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatics systems design. Knowledge of machine shop tools and processes. Ability to integrate wide range of test instrumentation (e.g., strain, pressure, and temperature). Utilizes analytical tools.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
