What You'll Do:

* Design and conduct studies on key ecological issues to support public and private sector clients
* Prepare environmental documentation, permits, and mitigation plans for a variety of clients
* Maintain communication with clients to keep them apprised of project status and any changes in conditions
* Guide and mentor junior to mid-level scientists, fostering growth and technical excellence
* Oversee the preparation of large, complex environmental data sets, technical reports, and design tasks for bridge structures
* Lead the development of assessment reports and other reporting elements, as well as external presentations for clients, the public, and regulatory agencies
* Identify new project opportunities and assist with proposal development, including technical scope and budget estimates
What You Bring:
* Bachelor's degree in Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Soil Science or related field required
* Minimum of 10 years of related experience required; experience at an AEC firm, DOT, or regulatory agency preferred
* Proficiency with ArcMap or basic GIS Mapping, Microsoft Word & Excel
* Proficient theoretical scientific knowledge and ability to work in a team environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Valid driver's license required; license/certification in technical discipline preferred

Salary Range:

For the Managing Consultant, Environmental Permitting Project Manager position, the anticipated annual base pay is $87,316 - $101,602 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
