SOL Engineering is seeking dedicated, experienced candidates to join our team as a Wastewater Sampling Technician. This role will collect and analyze wastewater samples at designated sites. This position involves installing and maintaining sampling equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and working as part of a team to monitor and assess wastewater treatment processes. Responsibilities 1. Follow industry, SOL, client safety standards. 2.Perform sampling twice a week at 3 to 5 designated sites in the East Central, West Central, and/or Southeastern public health districts. Work is considered to be on-call, and there is no guaranteed amount of work. Receive shipment of autosamplers for transport to assigned sites. Perform initial site visits in support of autosampler installation at the influent end of designated wastewater treatment (WWTP) sites or at schools. Participate in coordination and planning meetings on a regular basis as necessary. Participate in training associated with work duties on the project. Coordinate work as a member of a 2-person sampling crew if needed. Wastewater sample collection for SARS-CoV-2 or other pathogens as directed, 2 days per week between Monday and Thursday each week. Collect 24-hour composite samples utilizing provided autosamplers and associated equipment. Responsible for daily drop off samples at FedEx for shipping. Field reporting and data entry required. Able to ride in vehicle for 4 or more hours a day. Education and Requirements Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent Must have a valid driver's license. Must have the ability to pass a physical examination. Must be able to pass a drug screening and background checks. Physical ability to carry up to 30 pounds. SITE MAINTENANCE GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: The Site Maintenance performs various maintenance duties for residential units including basic plumbing, electrical, painting, appliance repairs, cleaning units and grounds for inspections and new occupancy. Provide exceptional service while assessing and repairing the property. The Site Maintenance reports directly to the Site Manager. JOB DESCRIPTION · Performs basic repairs to appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, and/or circuits · Performs light plumbing work, such as clogs, replacing fittings · Performs carpentry work not limited to fitting doors, freeing windows, replacing/building shelves, and interior/exterior painting · Replaces damaged or broken glass, tile, carpet, window screens/blinds, garbage disposals, light fixtures, appliances, locks, etc. · Reports all maintenance and resident concerns related immediately to Site Manager · Responds to work orders, resident requests and concerns within 24 hours when possible · Keeps accurate, detailed records for preventive maintenance activities, work order requests, apartment renovations, inventories and/or purchase orders ASSIST SITE MANAGER WITH: o Move-in/move-out inspections o Routine inspections required by Federal and/or State regulatory agencies o “Make-ready†procedures to vacant units · Identifies water and gas meter cut-offs, unit fixture cut-offs, sewer clean-outs · Performs scheduled maintenance on equipment based on the manufacturers operating manuals · Periodically inspects all units, buildings and common areas, performs repairs and/or janitorial duties as needed. · Ensures storage areas and other entrances are locked and adequate lighting in those areas is maintained · Attends and/or participates in required training(s).
