Work is considered to be on-call, and there is no guaranteed amount of work. Receive shipment of autosamplers for transport to assigned sites. Perform initial site visits in support of autosampler installation at the influent end of designated wastewater treatment (WWTP) sites or at schools. Participate in coordination and planning meetings on a regular basis as necessary. Participate in training associated with work duties on the project. Coordinate work as a member of a 2-person sampling crew if needed. Wastewater sample collection for SARS-CoV-2 or other pathogens as directed, 2 days per week between Monday and Thursday each week. Collect 24-hour composite samples utilizing provided autosamplers and associated equipment. Responsible for daily drop off samples at FedEx for shipping. Field reporting and data entry required. Able to ride in vehicle for 4 or more hours a day. Education and Requirements Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent Must have a valid driver's license. Must have the ability to pass a physical examination. Must be able to pass a drug screening and background checks. Physical ability to carry up to 30 pounds.
