Job Description: Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC company, has an immediate opening for a Project EnvironmentalScientist/Engineer/Geologist to assist in the management and growth of our environmental practice in Irvine, California. The candidate will be responsible for conducting and managing Phase I and Phase II environmental investigations, soil and groundwater remediation, project scheduling, staff mentoring, budget control, and meeting and interacting with clients and regulatory agencies, including familiarity working with the US Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Toxic and Substances Control, the Regional Water Quality Control Board and the local Environmental Health agencies. Required Skills: The successful candidate will need to have 5-10 years of recent professional environmental consulting experience conducting most or all of the duties described above. The Sensor Design and Characterization group within the Research and Development (R&D) organization is dedicated to the design and development of cutting-edge sensor technologies, guiding them from initial concept through to commercialization.
