Cocktail server job at Erickson Senior Living
We are hosting open interviews the first Wednesday of every month looking for Servers to join the team. No experience required!
Servers are responsible for serving residents and guest meals in a friendly, service-oriented manner. The server records and inputs into the POS system beverage and food orders delivers and serves food, ensures exceptional guest service. Our customers look forward to interacting and sharing their day with our knowledgeable, friendly servers!

What You'll Do:
Assist cooks with preparing and serving quality meals while following safety and sanitation standards
Deliver hot and cold foods, beverages, and nourishments to residents and designated locations
Serve meals in collaboration with nursing team members in Healthcare and Personal Care areas
Prepare toast, coffee, and beverages for meals
Portion and serve sandwiches, salads, fruit, desserts, and condiments
Set tables, clear dishes, and sanitize dining areas after meals
Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment
Stock and organize kitchen supplies as needed
What We're Looking For:
Basic knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling practices (we'll train you!)

🎯 What You'll Do in This Role:
Dining Server - Health Center
As a Dining Server in our Health Center, you'll play an important role in supporting residents in our skilled nursing area. Beyond serving meals, you'll help enrich the daily lives of those we care for. Using a ticket system to ensure accuracy, you'll prepare beverages, serve meals, engage with residents, and maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment. This role is about more than food service-it's about creating meaningful connections and contributing to the comfort and well-being of our residents.
Primary Responsibilities:
Watch tickets and run a tray line to ensure accuracy of orders
Serve meals to residents with a smile and a friendly demeanor
Cater to special dietary requirements and restrictions
Clear tables and maintain a clean and organized dining area
✅ What You'll Need:
Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
Prior experience as a server in a restaurant, nursing home, or retirement community serving older adults is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

Servers are responsible for table service in the community dining rooms and assist in maintaining high level of customer service for employees, residents and their guests.

You Should Have
Prefer one (1) or more years of serving experience in a high volume fine dining restaurant
A valid TABC Certification and Food Handlers Certification may be required and must be obtained before entering this position

Must be polished, professional, friendly, dynamic and able to multitask
PHYSICAL AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
